AUBURN, AL, August 24, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mary Grayson Nix Caden has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Mrs. Caden's professional path of nearly two decades and counting is marked by a dynamic blend of entrepreneurship, athleticism and dedication to helping others on their wellness journeys. Since 2024, she has served as the owner of The Yoga Room, a well-established studio in Auburn, Alabama, where she coordinates classes for 25 yoga instructors/sound healers etc. — including courses in yin yoga, hot yoga and yoga sculpt — hires new employees, manages business finances and oversees marketing, software operations and social media operations. She even started a yoga school, The Yoga Room Academy, this past year where she trains new yoga teachers. As a testament to her leadership and community impact, The Yoga Room was recognized with the Best of Alabama award in 2026.
Additionally, Mrs. Caden is the owner and chief executive officer of Yogalete, a business she founded to merge her passions for yoga and athletics as a former soccer player herself. With an emphasis on yoga for athletes, she teaches football, gymnastics, soccer and baseball teams in these practices, including work with Auburn University athletics programs. Her online yoga studio extends her reach globally, allowing individuals worldwide to practice and learn with her.
Mrs. Caden considers the creation of Yogalete her greatest professional achievement to date as it has enabled her to connect with National Football League players and many more professional athletes and former college soccer players. This accomplishment represents a full-circle moment in her life — transitioning from college athletics to supporting other athletes in achieving their wellness goals.
In addition to these ventures, Mrs. Caden's expertise led her to Auburn University's EAGLES Program from 2021 to 2024, during which she worked as a health and wellness coordinator and as lead counselor for the school's Summer Bridge Camp in 2022. During this period, she also contributed to the institution's Recreation and Wellness department as a yoga teacher and personal trainer from 2020 to 2022.
Earlier in her career, Mrs. Caden excelled as a collegiate soccer player at Eckerd College from 2009 to 2011. Prior to establishing herself in the wellness industry, she also operated Mary Grayson's Creations for three years, channeling her creativity into cake design and gaining valuable entrepreneurial experience.
Alongside her primary roles, Mrs. Caden maintains active memberships in several industry-related organizations including YogaFit Training Systems Worldwide Inc., the World Yoga Federation and local chambers of commerce.
Hailing from an equally accomplished academic background, Mrs. Caden earned a Master of Science in physical education in 2022 and a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology and exercise science with a minor in therapeutic exercise in 2020, both from Auburn University. Determined to make an impact outside the classroom as well, she was an active member of the National Society for Leadership and Success, the Society for Collegiate Leadership and Achievement, the Tau Sigma Honor Society and the Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society.
To enhance her expertise as an instructor and wellness professional, Mrs. Caden is certified as a personal trainer by the National Academy of Sports Medicine, as a registered Yoga teacher by YogaFit, and in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) by the American Healthcare Academy.
Mrs. Caden's path has been shaped by resilience and adaptability following significant challenges during her athletic career. After suffering multiple concussions while playing soccer — a sport she had pursued since childhood and won multiple team and individual honors — she faced depression and uncertainty about her future. Her move to Auburn marked a turning point when exposure to kinesiology and biomechanics inspired new interests for her to pursue. Returning to school as an older student gave her focus and determination as she embraced opportunities in research labs within Auburn University's kinesiology department, taught yoga classes for the university's football team for five years and built meaningful relationships that greatly contributed to her success.
Beyond her professional roles, Mrs. Caden has volunteered with Nourish Foundation to help underserved populations and worked with Aceing Autism in 2019. She also began serving as a board member for the Alabama Head Injury Foundation in 2023, regularly participates in free yoga charity events and donates Christmas gifts in Lee County each year, with special attention given to children in foster care or awaiting adoption.
Happily married and a proud pet parent, Mrs. Caden values time spent prioritizing self-care, reading, walking her dogs and enjoying activities with her husband. As a balance to her professional and civic endeavors, she enjoys hobbies like playing golf and engaging in fun pursuits that support an active lifestyle alongside her two dogs and cat.
