From 2021 to 2023, Mr. Fournier served as the chief executive officer of Les Entreprises Marc Saulnier in Lavaltrie, Quebec, Canada. During this period, he was responsible for steering the holding company through operational and strategic initiatives within the real estate and forestry industries. Simultaneously, between 2017 and 2023, he acted as a fractional business development partner at Soluqual, a software company in Quebec, where he played a key role in identifying growth opportunities and fostering business relationships. During those same years, Mr. Fournier was also a board director, chair of the governance, integrity, and human resources committee, and a member of the audit committee at Coffrages Synergy Formwork, a major construction company in Eastern Canada based in Lavaltrie, QC, where he provided critical guidance on corporate governance and compliance matters.

Mr. Fournier's earlier tenure, which spanned over a decade, he earned progressive leadership roles that included his role, beginning as a business lawyer with Lavery de Billy in Montréal between 2007 and 2009, then as the director of legal affairs at Atis Group from 2009 to 2011, followed by interim director responsibilities for customer and technical services at Atis Group in Longueuil and Terrebonne between 2010 and 2011, and president of Cunningham Partners Consultants from 2010 to 2013, providing consulting services across various industries for business optimization. He then joined Dorel Industries Inc. in Montréal, where he began as a corporate legal counsel in 2012 and worked his way up to vice-president and general counsel for the corporate and juvenile segment between 2017 and 2019. In 2019, Mr. Fournier took the helm of Ameriwood Home, a ready-to-assemble American furniture company owned by Dorel Industries Inc., where he successfully turned around the business. In these executive roles, Mr. Fournier oversaw operations, business growth and contributed to the company's market expansion. Throughout these years, he developed deep expertise in corporate strategy, operations, mergers & acquisitions and business development.

In preparation for his future, Mr. Fournier earned a Bachelor of Laws from the Université de Montréal and a Master of Business Administration from HEC Montréal. The combination of legal training and advanced business education has equipped him with analytical skills, resilience and strategic insight that have been pivotal throughout his multifaceted career. Additionally, Mr. Fournier's professional journey is further distinguished by military service as a mechanical technician with the Canadian Armed Forces, having served from 1996 to 2003.

Mr. Fournier has maintained active involvement in industry and civic organizations, including the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, since 2024. He is also active with the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce and the U.S. Superyacht Association. Previously, Mr. Fournier held roles with Collège Stanislas, the Montreal chapter of Treble Victor Group (helping ex-military achieve their full potential in post-service careers) and the Quebec Artists Foundation from 2014 to 2016 (providing financial and psychological support to professional artists going through a difficult time).
