CLARKSBURG, MD, August 27, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Angela Christian has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Ms. Christian's career reflects a multifaceted journey defined by entrepreneurship, financial education, strategic leadership and a commitment to community empowerment. Her work today centers on helping individuals, families, business owners and communities understand their financial position, prepare for retirement and make informed decisions that support stronger financial futures.
In 2026, Ms. Christian founded the Closing the Retirement Gap Alliance™, where she serves as founder and convener. The collaborative initiative brings together professionals, community leaders and organizations around a shared mission of moving individuals and families from retirement uncertainty to retirement readiness through education, collaboration and action. The Alliance has established a long-term goal of helping 10,000 families improve their retirement readiness by 2036.
The Alliance's first major in-person gathering, the Closing the Retirement Gap Experience, is scheduled for Saturday, October 10, 2026, at The Turn House in Columbia, Maryland. The event will bring together professionals, families, business owners and community leaders for financial education, meaningful conversations and practical strategies designed to improve retirement readiness.
Since 2021, Ms. Christian has served as a financial strategist with The Miliare Group. In this capacity, she conducts individual consultations and group presentations, provides financial education, performs financial needs analyses and helps clients develop personalized financial strategies based on their goals, priorities and stages of life. She also mentors a team of approximately 30 individuals, preparing and developing them to become financial educators.
Through World Financial Group, where she serves as a senior marketing director, Ms. Christian works with established financial services companies, supporting her education-first approach to helping clients evaluate financial strategies suited to their individual needs and objectives.
Ms. Christian established ACE Rehoboth Consortium LLC in 2018 and later launched Financial House Advisory, a financial education and strategy firm helping individuals, families, business owners and organizations make informed financial decisions and build stronger financial futures. As founder and chief executive officer, she has focused the firm's work on financial education, retirement readiness, wealth building and preservation, financial protection and legacy planning.
She also developed The Right Side Financial Score™, a proprietary assessment designed to help individuals evaluate key areas of their financial foundation, identify potential gaps and gain greater clarity about the steps they can take to strengthen their financial position. Ms. Christian's entrepreneurial journey began in Ghana through the Empretec Ghana Foundation, a United Nations-supported entrepreneurship development initiative. After completing its flagship 10-day entrepreneurship development program, she went on to become a trainer and business counselor, helping entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized businesses strengthen their capabilities through entrepreneurship education and business development support. She further expanded her expertise by completing a Business Counseling Program with the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom and later participated in a separate international exchange program sponsored by the British Council.
Ms. Christian put those principles into practice by founding Office Team Link Ltd., a recruitment and business development agency in Ghana, where she led business development and recruitment initiatives. Her experience as an entrepreneurship educator, business counselor and business owner helped shape the practical, education-first approach that would later become a defining theme throughout her professional career.
After being selected through the U.S. Diversity Visa Program, Ms. Christian relocated to the United States, where she continued building upon her entrepreneurial and professional experience. Her early career in the United States included managing an orthopedic practice and serving as an administrative manager with the National Academies of Sciences. She also supported international development and capacity-building initiatives across sub-Saharan Africa, including work associated with the PEPFAR program and the African Science Academies Development Initiative.
Ms. Christian later transitioned into cybersecurity and government contracting, building experience in risk assessment, information security, governance and compliance. Her roles included serving as an assessments and authorizations team lead with Adinkra Solutions Group LLC, a FISMA analyst with Triumph Enterprises Inc. and a project manager with ECS. These experiences strengthened her ability to assess risk, navigate complex systems and develop practical solutions — skills that continue to inform her work in financial education and strategy.
A pivotal professional transition occurred when Ms. Christian reconnected with a certified public accountant friend who introduced her to financial education. The experience opened the door to what would become the central focus of her current career: helping people understand financial concepts and make informed decisions about their financial futures.
Resilience and persistence have remained defining characteristics throughout Ms. Christian's journey. She attributes much of her progress to refusing to accept "no" as a final answer and instead seeking alternative solutions when confronted with obstacles. That mindset has guided her work across continents, industries and entrepreneurial ventures.
Ms. Christian's work in financial education and retirement readiness has gained increasing public recognition.
In May 2026, she was featured on FOX 5 DC to discuss closing the retirement gap, expanding the visibility of her work and creating opportunities for further collaboration. Her professional insights have also been featured in International Business Times. She is a member of FINSECA and an approved presenter with Montgomery County Public Libraries, reflecting her continued commitment to professional development and accessible community financial education.
Ms. Christian earned a Bachelor of Science in global business and public policy from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2014. Her credentials include the Certified Financial Security Leader designation through FINSECA and life and health insurance licenses in 40 states. She also holds several professional certifications in cybersecurity, information security and risk management, including CompTIA Security+, Certified Associate Chief Information Security Officer (A|CISO), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and Certified in Governance, Risk and Compliance (CGRC).
In early 2026, Ms. Christian published "The Right Side Advantage: How Professionals Move from Income to Ownership and Build Financial Control." The book challenges common assumptions about financial and retirement preparedness and encourages readers to understand the distinction between earning income and building ownership and greater control over their financial futures.
The book's launch included an in-person educational event focused on understanding different types of income. Engagement and feedback from attendees inspired Ms. Christian to expand those conversations through additional financial education programs designed to reach broader audiences. A central theme throughout her work is that earning a strong income does not automatically mean a person is financially prepared. Through her writing, educational programs and financial strategy work, she encourages individuals to understand how their income is structured, evaluate what they own and take intentional steps toward greater financial control.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Ms. Christian remains actively involved in community financial education. She has contributed to faith-based and civic organizations, including Zenith Christ Family Chapel, where she has participated in community initiatives and conducted financial education sessions. Through her work with Montgomery County Public Libraries and other community organizations, she continues to create opportunities for practical financial education and retirement-readiness conversations in accessible settings.
Born in Ghana, Ms. Christian has built a life and career spanning countries, industries and entrepreneurial ventures. Outside of her professional activities, she enjoys traveling with her daughter and hosting gatherings for family, friends and colleagues. Her experiences have contributed to a professional philosophy centered on education, resilience and action. She believes financial education should do more than provide information; it should help people understand their choices and take practical steps toward building stronger financial futures.
Looking ahead, Ms. Christian remains committed to helping individuals and families close the retirement gap through education, strategic planning and community engagement. She views retirement preparedness as a significant financial challenge facing working families and believes addressing it requires not only knowledge but also access to practical tools and actionable strategies.
Through Financial House Advisory, the Closing the Retirement Gap Alliance, The Right Side Advantage and her broader financial education work, Ms. Christian seeks to equip individuals and families with greater financial clarity and practical tools to help them move from retirement uncertainty to retirement readiness. Her long-term vision is to help 10,000 families improve their retirement readiness by 2036.
