Mr. Postiglione currently serves as a math teacher at-large at Oakton College, a role he has held since 2023. In this capacity, he teaches General Educational Development courses and summer programs for gifted students through the institution's STEAM Program, which integrates science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics. He also leads portraiture and film appreciation classes for an emeritus group of individuals aged 55 and older at Oakton College, demonstrating his commitment to both academic and creative enrichment.

Mr. Postiglione has always maintained several concurrent teaching positions. For instance, in 2017 school year, he taught mathematics at St. Damian School in Oak Forest, Illinois, working with junior high students. That summer, he helped adult tradespeople enrolled in the CONSTRUCT Program of Commonwealth Edison pass their CAST exam through the YWCA in Homewood, Illinois. This prepared him for a two-year assignment starting in 2019 at US Steel in Gary teaching "Mathematics for the Trades." His favorite assignments have always been working with the gifted. Since 2016, he has contributed as a math instructor for the Summer Institute for the Gifted at The University of Chicago and as a math enrichment instructor for the Upward Bound TRiO Federal Program at Robert Morris University in Chicago.

Mr. Postiglione was also a math specialist at Joliet Montessori Adolescent School in Crest Hill, Illinois. Between 2021 and 2023, he served as a mathematics instructor at Holy Trinity High School in Chicago. His tenure as an adjunct at ITT Technical Institute is notable; from 2007 to 2016 he taught college-level mathematics and problem-solving theory at campuses in Orland Park, IL and Merrillville, IN.

For years, Mr. Postiglione honed his math teaching skills within Chicago Public Schools from 1999 to 2016. His initial teaching position was at Westinghouse Career Academy, where he spent six years and began his journey as an educator specializing in standardized math test prep from one end of the city to the other. In the 2008-09 school year, he helped Chicago vocational students score their highest ever in mathematics. He did the same in 2013 at Brooks College Prep. He takes pride in developing educational tools that foster critical thinking.

Beyond classroom instruction, Mr. Postiglione's professional experience includes significant entrepreneurial achievements. In 1981, after acquiring a mini-mansion zoned for business in Chicago, he created "The Pasta Bar" restaurant on its first floor. He and his family lived above the restaurant for several years while he developed a side business producing fresh pasta for local establishments serving approximately seventy clients. Following the sale of that property and a move to Evanston, he focused exclusively on pasta production before opening a small café due to regulatory requirements. Over eight years, he expanded this venture into eight Dancing Noodles Cafés across the Chicago area and even Chico, California.

Mr. Postiglione's inventive spirit is further evidenced by his creation of TRIADD, a peg-and-bead board game designed to teach geometry and arithmetic concepts to children and learners of all ages. He copyrighted this and a Dancing Noodles Café logo dating back to 1987.

As an accomplished writer and inventor, Mr. Postiglione recently completed his first short story titled "Eclipse of the Sun," which he submitted to Narrative Magazine with aspirations of adapting it into a film script. His expertise spans mathematics, the arts, critical thinking and creative thinking — areas in which he has demonstrated exceptional skill throughout his multifaceted career.

In 1999, Mr. Postiglione left a chef's position with Sodexho Marriott to become one of the last graduates of the legendary Teachers for Chicago Program. The latter gave him a Master of Education with a concentration in mathematics curriculum from DePaul University in 2004. He also earned a bachelor's degree in design and visual communications from the University of Illinois Chicago. His formal education has been instrumental in shaping his approach to teaching and curriculum development. Initially considering art education due to his undergraduate background, the Teacher for Chicago people demanded that he pursue mathematics instruction based on strong aptitude demonstrated by high standardized test scores in mathematics.

Certified by the Illinois State Board of Education to teach middle school through high school mathematics and visual arts, Mr. Postiglione credits much of his success to influential mentors encountered throughout his career. He actively sought out opportunities to learn from experienced professionals and considers himself fortunate to have benefited from their guidance.

Throughout his career, Mr. Postiglione has been recognized for excellence in creative teaching with several nominations for Teacher of the Year awards. He continues to tutor for United States Steel Corporation and authored "Eclipse of the Sun." Additionally, he contributed "The Collegiate Model for High School Mathematics Instruction," presented to the Department of Education under Arnie Duncan's leadership in 2014. His writing portfolio also includes movie reviews published by a Michigan Avenue Newspaper.

Born in Chicago, Mr. Postiglione is married to Scherrie and is the father of Raleigh, Racquel and Cameron. In his personal time, he enjoys watching movies. He remains committed to bringing TRIADD fully to market while continuing efforts to prepare young children for future advancements in AI and technology-driven fields.
