Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Dr. Mohamed's nearly two-decade career reflects a steadfast commitment to advancing science, mentoring future leaders, and driving innovation across the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors.

As Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of EdenNX, he serves as the organization's visionary architect, guiding its founding, growth, and strategic direction. He leads high-performing teams in identifying complex industry challenges and developing solutions that address inefficiencies at their root. His mission centers on accelerating scientific progress, strengthening drug discovery pathways, and building transformative technologies that propel the life-science ecosystem forward.

Complementing his leadership at EdenNX, Dr. Mohamed also serves as Founder and Chief Executive Officer of WKM Consulting Services LLC, a San Francisco Bay Area consulting firm he established in 2024. Through WKM Consulting, he supports biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies in achieving regulatory excellence, optimizing quality systems, and accelerating development and delivery of critical therapies.

Beyond his established ventures, Dr. Mohamed continues to cultivate new scientific initiatives, several of which will be unveiled as they mature into fully realized life-science enterprises.

Dr. Mohamed's career is defined by a steady ascent built on curiosity, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to improving human health. Beginning at the laboratory bench as a chemist, he developed a deep understanding of pharmaceutical development and the impact of rigorous science on patient outcomes. These early experiences instilled in him a respect for precision and a passion for innovation.

He advanced through roles of increasing responsibility in Quality Assurance and Compliance, serving as Senior QA Associate, Manager of Compliance and Process Quality, Senior Manager of Quality Operations, and later Associate Director of Quality Compliance. In these positions, he strengthened quality operations, shaped compliance strategies, and elevated organizational performance. His expertise expanded further as Director of QA Operations Compliance, overseeing electronic quality systems and audit programs across complex operational environments. Dr. Mohamed ultimately rose to an executive-level role as Executive Director of Patient Research Quality and Regulatory Compliance at a globally recognized healthcare institution, where he safeguarded patient safety and upheld regulatory excellence across patient research programs.

In every role, he brought a visionary approach to system improvement, team development, and operational excellence.

His experience spans organizations of every scale, from agile startups to mid-growth companies to world-renowned institutions. This breadth exposed him to diverse systems, cultures, and challenges, shaping his adaptability and strengthening his ability to build resilient, high-performing organizations. Across these environments, he collaborated with talented teams to solve complex problems and contribute to the launch of several life-changing drug products. These achievements, which have improved the lives of millions of patients worldwide, remain among his proudest professional milestones.

In addition to his corporate and scientific accomplishments, Dr. Mohamed is deeply committed to developing future leaders. Since 2024, he has served as a mentor in business and entrepreneurship with Young Founders Lab, guiding emerging innovators through market research, prototyping, investor pitch development, and business formation. Dr. Mohamed's academic foundation is equally distinguished. He earned an Executive Doctor of Science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2023, gaining advanced expertise in operations, systems management, and leadership. He completed a Master of Science in Quality Assurance at California State University–Dominguez Hills in 2018 and holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry and physics from Alexandria University.

His professional credentials include certification as a Quality Auditor (CQA), Healthcare Research Compliance professional (CHRC), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt (CLSSGB, CLSSBB), and Project Management Professional (PMP). He remains committed to continuous learning, regularly pursuing advanced training to expand his capabilities and better serve the scientific community.

Reflecting on his journey from chemist to executive leader, founder, and mentor, Dr. Mohamed credits his mother's encouragement, particularly her persistent question, "What's next?", as a driving force behind his pursuit of excellence and impact across the biotech industry.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Mohamed quietly supports charitable causes, including programs for orphans, educational initiatives, and essential resources for low-income families. He prefers anonymity in his philanthropy, valuing impact over recognition.

Dr. Mohamed is happily married to his wife, Olga, an attorney, and together they are the proud parents of their son, Adam. When not advancing the biotech and pharmaceutical landscape, he enjoys fishing, hiking, and experimenting in the kitchen.

Looking ahead, he remains committed to building companies that heal more people and mentoring the next generation of innovators who will shape the future of science and entrepreneurship.
