From 2020 to 2022, Mr. Zayed served as executive director of information technology and chief information officer at Aldara Hospital and Medical Center in partnership with Henry Ford Health System in Saudi Arabia. He played a pivotal role in building greenfield hospital sites in Riyadh and Doha to advance Queen Sheikha Moza's vision for women's and children's healthcare. At Sidra Medicine in Doha—a 399-bed hospital dedicated to women's and children's health—he focused on decision support and data governance. Collaborating with Lord Darzi Consulting, PwC, EY, and other major consulting firms, he led nationwide analyses that informed critical decisions during the opening of new hospitals, including bed allocation and physician recruitment amid global shortages.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Zayed held several roles at Cerner Corporation between 2010 and 2015, including integration architect, delivery consultant (integrated services), quality analyst, and KCIT system engineer. During this period, he developed expertise in integration architecture, agency workflows, data analysis, clean data management, and the deployment of innovative technologies in healthcare environments.
Throughout his professional journey, Mr. Zayed has demonstrated exceptional skill in building high-performing teams and fostering cultures of data-driven decision-making. Notably, while working in Doha, he established a 24-hour support system by coordinating teams across India, Doha, Dubai, and the United States—enabling seamless productivity around the clock.
