Alongside Laker Creative LLC, Ms. Wood founded FunnelMe Marketing, where she has served as digital marketing manager since 2024. Her dedication to special education is further exemplified by her role as a special education teacher and instructional designer with the Anchorage School District since 2018. Over the past 16 years working with children in Alaska, she has encountered students facing executive functioning challenges and behavioral issues each year. As a certified special education teacher for eight years, she has amassed substantial experience working one-on-one, in small groups, and within various self-contained programs. Her expertise in special education is widely recognized, and she takes pride in her ability to support students with diverse needs through adaptive teaching methods and compassionate guidance.
Ms. Wood's own academic background has been instrumental in shaping her career achievements. She earned a master's degree in special education and teaching from the University of Phoenix in 2017, equipping her with advanced knowledge of instructional strategies for neurodivergent learners. She previously completed a Bachelor of Science in physical education at Grand Valley State University in 2009. Additionally, she holds certification as a special education teacher, which has enabled her to work effectively across various educational settings.
