SAINT PETERSBURG, FL, August 31, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mark Keller has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Mr. Keller was born in Tokyo, Japan, where his parents had relocated from Seattle, Washington, to pursue opportunities in the hotel industry. His early years were spent in Asia and the United Kingdom, providing a wide variety of cultural experiences that shaped his global perspective and adaptability. A natural-born United States citizen, he developed a fascination with science and technology during his formative years that would lead to a hugely successful career of nearly 30 years and counting.
Mr. Keller's academic journey led him to King's College London, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in physics. During this time, he studied theoretical physics and advanced computer programming, cultivating a deep interest in three-dimensional modeling, animation and the visualization of complex concepts through code. This academic foundation proved instrumental as he transitioned into the emerging fields of computers and digital graphics, with the analytical skills and creative problem-solving approaches gained from his studies becoming central to his professional achievements.
Beginning his career in digital video production, Mr. Keller built digital film and video systems and provided consulting services to film studios in the United Kingdom as well as to major technology companies like Apple and Adobe. His expertise led him to advertising, where he joined the leading consultancy firm Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO and played a pivotal role in developing some of the earliest all-digital television production systems for commercials. In collaboration with his team, he successfully streamlined the labor-intensive process of creating television commercials by introducing innovative digital solutions.
Recognizing the potential for large-scale content creation and distribution, Mr. Keller and five of his colleagues co-founded the information technology company Hogarth Worldwide Ltd., which focused on delivering commercials across television, print and radio platforms. The business experienced rapid growth, expanding from four employees to 100 within 18 months and eventually reaching several hundred staff members over the course of his nearly eight-year tenure. This venture culminated in an acquisition by the global marketing technology leader WPP, where the workforce grew to approximately 3,000 people.
Notably, Mr. Keller's team created the first iPhone advertisements under Steve Jobs' guidance, ensuring pixel-perfect consistency across multiple languages and markets by producing hundreds of variations efficiently and cost-effectively. This innovative approach not only transformed advertising workflows but also demonstrated adaptability for other digital products.
From 2016 to 2018, Mr. Keller served as the principal solutions and enterprise architect at Coretech (also part of WPP) in London. He continued advancing advertising technology by developing systems for managing media airtime, cloud production architecture and commercial messaging on a global scale.
Mr. Keller went on to assume the role of global chief information officer at the creative advertising firm Wunderman (now Wunderman Thompson, a WPP company) from 2018 to 2020, leading technology initiatives for what was then the world's largest digital agency. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he oversaw the establishment of a cloud-based global studio system that enabled employees to work remotely on personal laptops while leveraging cloud computing for high-resolution video editing and three-dimensional modeling — an accomplishment inspired by innovations in cloud gaming technology.
Since 2022, Mr. Keller has served as chief technology officer of ARK Investment Management LLC, which researches and invests in disruptive technology companies with a current focus on the space exploration, artificial intelligence and energy storage sectors. In his leadership capacity, he is responsible for designing, developing and managing the overall technology platforms for ARK Invest including both the internal IT systems and the technology that supports the marketing aspects of the business as well the AI/automation platforms that support the research and investment teams based on Palantir Foundry.
Over the course of his international career, Mr. Keller has become recognized as an expert in business transformation as well as the implementation of technology — including artificial intelligence and automation systems — to enhance efficiency, productivity, quality and control within organizations. His ability to enable large teams to collaborate simultaneously on complex projects stands out among his most meaningful achievements.
Alongside his professional roles, Mr. Keller has contributed thought leadership as a keynote speaker at major industry events such as the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show, the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) and IBM Interconnect, all of which have allowed him to share his insights on digital transformation and emerging technologies with audiences worldwide.
Persistence has long been a key factor in Mr. Keller's success, and he believes that tenacity is essential for achieving meaningful results. Drawing upon his academic background in physics, he approaches problems from multiple perspectives rather than defaulting to conventional solutions — a mindset that has yielded innovative outcomes throughout his career.
Determined to further his impact in the coming years, Mr. Keller aims to enhance technological platforms that accurately reflect how businesses operate by creating unified workspaces that maximize productivity through artificial intelligence advancements as well as automation. His ultimate goal is to establish more cohesive environments that are specifically tailored to the needs of every organization, reflecting his longstanding legacy of originality, leadership and utilizing advanced technologies to guide both people and industries toward lasting success.
