Throughout his career, Mr. Robertson has been recognized for excellence in teaching and coaching. He was twice nominated for the prestigious Dwyer Award in West Palm Beach, Florida, and named Southeastern Conference Coach of the Year in 1982, S.E.C.C. Basketball has remained central to his life: he has worked with national players in Scotland, coached in Japan, has had his teams win several state championships, and served alongside a close friend as A-3 staff at a high school in Oxon Hill, Maryland, a suburb of Washington, D.C.
Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Robertson was born in Tucson and is the proud parent of four children. He enjoys exercising such as weightlifting, walking 10,000 steps daily, and swimming laps in the pool, as well as reading and studying history during his personal time.
