LEXINGTON, SC, September 04, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Adrian Pelkus has released Adrian, An American Artificer: From Ideas to Products and the Fight for Inventors' Rights, a memoir tracing his decades-long career as an inventor and entrepreneur.

The book follows Pelkus's path from a childhood shaped by his family's immigrant history, including his Greek grandmother's knowledge of herbal medicine and his father's Irish and Austrian ancestry, through his early education in Southern California and his introduction to prosthetics work through UCLA's Child Amputee Prosthetics Project. From there, the memoir documents his career across a series of companies and technical fields, including work at Delta Design, Oak Systems, Electron Beam Corporation, and Astro Guard Industries, as well as the founding of A Squared Technologies and later ventures such as IYIA Technologies and SteriSys.

Throughout the book, Pelkus catalogs a wide range of inventions he developed over the decades, spanning medical devices, consumer products, industrial systems, and biomedical technologies. Pelkus writes about the effects of the America Invents Act and the Supreme Court's 2006 decision in eBay v. MercExchange, which he argues weakened patent holders' ability to secure injunctive relief against infringement.
