Marked by his innovative impact and exemplary leadership at the intersection of technology and engineering, Mr. Ciccone has served as chief executive officer of Energant Technologies since 1991, guiding the company's research and development for more than three decades. Under his leadership, Energant Technologies has become known for its groundbreaking work in energy conservation technology, particularly with the development of the vortex thermal motor.

This innovative technology, which Mr. Ciccone considers his most significant achievement, has the potential to revolutionize transportation and home energy systems. He envisions a future in which homes can generate their own heating, cooling and electricity, enabling residents to live off the grid and even sell excess power back to utility companies. Such advancements have the potential to transform traditional utility models into community-based cooperatives.

In addition to his role at Energant Technologies, Mr. Ciccone previously held several positions at AT&T Bell Labs. From 1985 to 2004, he contributed as an electrical engineer, designing circuit boards and playing a key role in simulating handsets that communicated with existing 900 MHz phone bases, a product that reached the market in 1997. His expertise led him to serve as a technical manager at AT&T Bell Labs before retiring in 2004 to focus fully on Energant Technologies. During his tenure, he was encouraged to pursue management training but chose instead to focus on technical innovation and engineering excellence.

A recognized expert in chemical technology, electrical engineering, vapor expansion technology and energy conservation resources, Mr. Ciccone has secured 12 patents to date and is recognized for his ability to simulate complex electronic systems during their development phases. His membership in the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) further reflects his commitment to staying at the forefront of technological advancements within his field.

Hailing from an equally accomplished educational background, Mr. Ciccone earned a Master of Science in electrical and electronic engineering with a concentration in software engineering from Union College in 1978 and holds a Bachelor of Science in chemistry. Continuing his steadfast dedication to the academic realm, he has collaborated with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on a sponsored project for a smart heat pump.

The gas shortage of the 1970s inspired Mr. Ciccone to explore alternative energy solutions. As a chemist with a deep understanding of thermodynamics, he investigated concepts such as adiabatic and isothermal processes and became intrigued by the potential of harnessing energy from water and air. His research led him to study heat pumps and thermal motors along the adiabatic curve, ultimately motivating his pursuit of the vortex thermal motor after he encountered the vortex tube device in a machine shop. Securing an early patent for adiabatic heat pumps solidified his commitment to green energy solutions that utilize ambient air rather than consuming additional resources.

Mr. Ciccone's work has been influenced by significant scientific thought, including articles from the University of Stuttgart suggesting that quantum mechanics might challenge the established laws of thermodynamics. These insights further fueled his passion for innovation and contributed to his ongoing efforts to develop sustainable energy technologies for future generations.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Ciccone has been active in civic organizations and charitable causes. He has donated to more than 70 charities, with special support for organizations that focus on conservative women and family advocacy. He is also an active supporter of the National Marriage Organization, Disabled American Veterans (DAV), United Service Organizations and various law enforcement agencies.

In recognition of his innovation and lasting contributions to modern society, Mr. Ciccone was presented with the IEDL Award from the Industrial Electronics Development Laboratory Robotics Division.

On a personal level, Mr. Ciccone maintains an active lifestyle through outdoor hobbies such as scuba diving, snow skiing, hiking and swimming. He is also passionate about working on cars as a mechanic and is the proud owner of a 1957 Chevrolet.

A humble Christian who believes in God, evolution and intelligent design, Mr. Ciccone attributes his success to patience, perseverance and a willingness to learn from both achievements and setbacks.
