DORAL, FL, September 09, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Oscar Feldenkreis has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Mr. Feldenkreis has built a distinguished career in the apparel industry, currently serving as the president and chief executive officer of Perry Ellis International Inc. since 2011. In this capacity, he oversees all aspects of the company's operations, traveling extensively to expand the brands internationally and working closely with sales, design and sourcing teams.
Over five decades, Perry Ellis International Inc. — a family-run business founded by Mr. Feldenkreis' father — has grown from $8 million in sales to $900 million, a legacy Mr. Feldenkreis built alongside his father before assuming full leadership of the company. The company now employs 2,000 people, many of whom have been with the organization for more than 15 years. He is especially proud of the long-standing commitment and loyalty of his team members, including colleagues such as Desiree, who has worked alongside him for nearly four decades.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Feldenkreis held the positions of vice-chairman, president and chief operating officer at Perry Ellis International. Throughout these years, he managed day-to-day operations in partnership with his father and played a key role in developing business relationships worldwide. Following his father's passing in 2025, Mr. Feldenkreis assumed full responsibility for the company and has since focused on building a strong leadership team to guide its continued growth.
Mr. Feldenkreis' early experiences included working in retail stores during high school and assisting in his father's office after school hours. He began at the lowest level within the company to gain a comprehensive understanding of its foundation and operations, spending significant time in Asia to source men's products and working in both warehouse and sales environments.
Mr. Feldenkreis is recognized as an expert in innovation, product merchandising and building business relationships. His strengths have been instrumental in driving the company's growth and reputation within the industry. He is also a member of YPO, reflecting his ongoing commitment to professional development and leadership within the business community. His academic background includes coursework at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida.
Reflecting on his career, Mr. Feldenkreis credits his success to hard work and a willingness to ask questions and learn from mistakes. He considers integrity the most important attribute a person can possess, believing that one's name holds greater value than material wealth. He encourages others to work hard, be unafraid, and find their niche, advising against the notion that the grass is always greener elsewhere. By staying focused on his strengths, he has achieved far greater success than he otherwise might have. He also stresses the value of surrounding oneself with influential, intelligent people and of asking thoughtful questions along the way.
His role as an executive board member of the Greater Miami Chapter of the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces is a labor of love. He also supports the Kosher Food Bank, sits on the Miami Dade College advisory board for the Miami Fashion Institute, and is an active advisory board member for the Jay H. Baker Retailing Center, of the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. He serves on the American Apparel and Footwear Association Board, and was recently appointed to the U.S. Advisory Board for the U.S. Istituto Marangoni. He also served on the board of the 2020 Super Bowl LIV Host Committee. In 2019 he joined the Nicklaus Children's Hospital Board and is the 2023 Annual Diamond Ball Gala Chair for the Nicklaus Children's Hospital Foundation supporting pediatric excellence.
In addition to his board involvement, Mr. Feldenkreis has also participated in projects that highlight his dedication to philanthropy and industry advancement, including "Delivering Good Honors Andrew Rosen, Oscar Feldenkreis and the Late George Feldenkreis."

Achievement Award from Kids In Distressed Situations, Inc., the recipient of the 2012 National Father's Day Committee's Father of the Year Award, and was the Apparel Industry Honoree for the 2016 Ronald McDonald House New York Annual Gala. Oscar also received the prestigious 2017 Ponce de Leon, CEO of the Year Award from the Spain-U.S. Chamber of Commerce and was the 2017 UJA Fashion Division Luncheon honoree with his father, George Feldenkreis.
He has been married to his childhood sweetheart, Ellen, for 45 years. They have three beautiful daughters, Jennifer Hardoon, Erica Lichy, and Stephanie Tauber and are adoring grandparents to granddaughters, Hailey, Elizabeth, Malka, Miriam, Leya, Golda and grandsons, Henry, Moshe, and Meir.
