AUSTIN, TX, September 05, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Laura Ramos James, founder and owner of Ramos James Law, PLLC, a personal injury trial firm in Austin, has launched Super Moms of Texas, a newsletter that spotlights Texas women who are building extraordinary careers while raising families. The newsletter is available now on the Super Moms of Texas website.

Super Moms of Texas profiles women across the state who are balancing demanding careers with motherhood, including builders, judges, chief executives and business owners. Ramos James said the idea grew out of her own experience running a law firm while raising two young daughters.

Ramos James founded Ramos James Law, PLLC in Austin, where she and her team represent injured clients in trucking, commercial vehicle, car crash, wrongful death, sexual assault and catastrophic injury cases. She said building the firm alongside her family gave her a close view of what is often left out of stories about successful women.

In a letter introducing the newsletter to readers, Ramos James described what her early years as a working mother actually looked like.

"I nursed my newborn during COVID while our nanny held her against my chest and I typed emails. That was my maternity leave," Ramos James wrote. "I've missed bedtimes for depositions. I've flown to Montana to learn to drive an 18-wheeler while my husband Jon held down the house and law firm alone. Nobody gave me a break. And I'm not asking for one."

That experience, she said, shaped who she wanted to feature.

"The women I want to spotlight here aren't asking for breaks either," Ramos James wrote. "They're builders. Judges. CEOs. Business owners. Women who decided they wanted all of it at the same time, and went and got it. While carrying a load most people never see. The 5 a.m. starts. The guilt. The school runs between client calls. The work that gets done after bedtime because that's the only slot left."

Ramos James said the goal of Super Moms of Texas is to let those women tell their own stories, without editing out the parts that do not make it onto a highlight reel.

"Texas moms are making their mark and balancing an extraordinary career while raising a family, and their stories deserve to be told properly, in their own words, including the parts that don't make the highlight reel," Ramos James wrote. "They've earned the recognition. The world needs to know their stories."

Each issue of Super Moms of Texas centers on one Texas woman and how she describes her own career and family life, rather than a polished summary written about her. Ramos James said she plans to feature women from across the state in law, business, the judiciary and other fields as the newsletter grows.
