NASHVILLE, TN, September 09, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Justin Wright has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Mr. Wright's most recent milestone is the founding of Nashville Headshot Co. in Nashville in January 2026. As founder, he has drawn on more than two decades of experience to position the company as a leading provider of corporate headshot photography in the region. The business was built through a combination of long-standing local relationships and a focused marketing strategy, including search engine optimization, Google Ads and active engagement with corporate marketing managers and directors. Mr. Wright's expertise in rapid rapport building with subjects and authentic portrait photography has enabled him to create shareable professional images that have become highly sought after by organizations across Nashville. His work with Ascension, a major healthcare conglomerate, stands as a testament to his reputation; what began as a single client referral has grown into an ongoing partnership to photograph headshots for the entire staff, with images used for internal communications, media features and promotional materials. He takes particular pride in the trust he has cultivated with clients such as Ascension. He measures his greatest success by the referrals he receives, viewing each recommendation as evidence of both satisfaction with his work and genuine enjoyment of the collaborative process.
Before launching Nashville Headshot Co., Mr. Wright owned and operated Justin Wright Photography in the Nashville metropolitan area beginning in 2008. Over the years, he photographed more than 600 weddings, developing lasting connections throughout the city. Many former wedding clients have since transitioned into the corporate world and now refer him for headshot services, further expanding his reach within the business community. While he is currently transitioning full-time into commercial photography and gradually winding down his wedding services, Mr. Wright continues to accept select bookings based on long-standing relationships with venues and event planners. This evolution allows him to maintain professional balance while fostering long-term client retention.
In 2019, Mr. Wright served as chief state photographer of Tennessee for four months, documenting the governor's daily activities. Although this prestigious appointment was deeply meaningful to him, it ultimately reinforced his passion for entrepreneurship and managing his own business. The experience solidified his commitment to supporting local enterprises through commercial portraiture.
Earlier in his career, from 2005 to 2009, Mr. Wright worked as youth minister at West End Church of Christ. This role allowed him to develop communication and relationship-building skills that would later prove invaluable in his photography career.
Throughout his professional journey, Mr. Wright has maintained active memberships in industry organizations, including the Professional Photographers of America and the National Association for Catering and Events. He is also a prospective member of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, reflecting his ongoing commitment to professional growth and community involvement.
Mr. Wright's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in communication from Lipscomb University in Nashville, earned in 2005. During college, he completed two photography courses that fueled his interest in pursuing photography professionally after graduation. He further enhanced his business acumen by obtaining a certification in business coaching from Radiant Institute in 2018, which has contributed to his ability to deliver high-quality service and maintain strong client relationships.
His path to photography was shaped by formative experiences living abroad during high school after relocating from Arkansas to St. Louis and then South Africa. Extensive travel across Europe, Asia and Australia broadened his perspective and sparked a deep curiosity about people — a quality that remains central to his approach today. A pivotal early assignment photographing Peter Frampton at the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum demonstrated that creative passion could serve as the foundation for a sustainable business.
Beyond professional achievements, Mr. Wright is civically engaged as a church volunteer and participates in quarterly service projects through the National Association for Catering and Events.
Born in Little Rock, Mr. Wright is dedicated to family life with three sons who keep him active outside work. He enjoys kayaking on Tennessee's rivers, hiking and spending time outdoors whenever possible. Looking ahead, he aims to become a trusted source of photography and media services for large corporations — particularly those with more than 500 employees — while establishing himself as Nashville's go-to headshot photographer, backed by his work and experience. He has also set an ambitious financial goal for expanding his services.
Mr. Wright credits much of his success to treating people exceptionally well and delivering outstanding service and quality deliverables — values instilled by his close-knit family from an early age through diverse experiences at home and abroad — that continue to inform both his craft and his client relationships today.
