As the owner of Embroid'em LLC, which she established in 2018, she has transformed the company from a one-person operation into a thriving enterprise specializing in branding partnerships, corporate uniforms, promotional products and professional attire for business-to-business mass production. Initially, she managed every aspect of the business herself, including machinery operation, sales and accounting. Over time, she has strategically expanded her team by hiring machine operators, an operations manager, an office manager and a production assistant, increasing both the company's capacity and impact.
Mrs. Tanner's expertise in branding partnerships and large-scale production has positioned Embroid'em as a trusted partner for high-profile events; one of her most notable achievements to date was producing 14,000 pieces for the 2026 National Football League (NFL) Draft when it was held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This accomplishment was especially meaningful given her small-town roots and the fact that she launched her business at just 23 years old. The project not only elevated her company's profile but also brought positive attention to her community; she was honored with an on-stage appearance during the third day of the draft, featured on ESPN.
In addition to her work at Embroid'em, Mrs. Tanner founded Battle and Thrive in 2022 to foster greater social connection in Greene County following the isolation brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. What began as a food truck event has grown into three major annual gatherings that continue to strengthen community bonds. That same year, she established Tanner Enterprises, a rental business through which she owns and manages a commercial building that houses multiple tenants.
Before embarking on her entrepreneurial journey, Mrs. Tanner gained valuable professional experience across several industries and roles. Her background includes human resources and purchasing with D & M Painting Corporation, where she developed skills in organization, hiring, vendor relationships and day-to-day business operations. She also gained experience in account management with Jacobs Petroleum, further developing the sales and relationship-building skills that would later become an important part of her entrepreneurial career. Earlier leadership experience with McDonald's Corporation, where she advanced from a crew member to a shift supervisor, helped establish a foundation in customer service, team leadership and managing within a fast-paced environment. Collectively, these experiences provided Mrs. Tanner with a well-rounded understanding of business operations, sales and leadership that she continues to draw upon today.
Alongside her primary roles, Mrs. Tanner's commitment to professional development is reflected in her active memberships with the Greene County Chamber of Commerce, the Peters Township Chamber of Commerce and the American Subcontractors Association of Western Pennsylvania.
Academically, Mrs. Tanner earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in business, management, marketing and related support services from Waynesburg University. Determined to make an impact outside the classroom as well, she worked as a data entry specialist with a focus on student athletes and potential new recruits.
Dedicated to continued growth as both a business owner and community leader, Mrs. Tanner is a graduate of Leadership Washington County, an experience that further strengthened her leadership skills, expanded her professional network, and deepened her commitment to making a positive impact within her community.

Her father and brother stepped in wherever needed, particularly during busy seasons, while her sister has also supported the business and family behind the scenes. As Mrs. Tanner has balanced entrepreneurship with motherhood, her family including her sister has periodically helped care for her daughter, allowing her to dedicate additional time to the demands of growing the company. Her husband also remains actively involved in Embroid'em, contributing his time and skills during evenings and peak production periods while assisting with equipment and maintenance needs. The growth of Embroid'em has truly been a family effort, built on a shared commitment to hard work, perseverance, and supporting one another.
Community support has been equally vital throughout Mrs. Tanner's career. During major projects like the NFL Draft order fulfillment, members of the Greene County Chamber of Commerce offered hands-on assistance with packing and logistics — a testament to the collaborative spirit that defines her approach to business.
Mrs. Tanner's commitment to her community extends well beyond her professional endeavors. Through Battle and Thrive, she has helped raise more than $15,000 to give back to the local community, including scholarships awarded to graduating seniors throughout Greene County. Her work with the organization reflects her passion for creating opportunities, bringing people together and making a meaningful difference in the community she calls home.
Her involvement also includes serving as president of the board of directors for the Greene County Tourism Agency and previously volunteering as a liaison for Leadership Washington County.
