SAN ANTONIO, TX, September 05, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- In November 2025, the West US (WUS) Volunteer Ministers, in partnership with the San Antonio Nation of Islam (NOI) Study Group, hosted a community Disaster Relief and Preparedness event at the Artisan at Willow Springs. Guided by the empowering message that "Something Can Be Done About It," local residents gathered to learn vital emergency readiness strategies.

The event featured critical presentations focused on community resilience and health. The local NOI Disaster Preparedness coordinator urged attendees to "Get Organized and be Prepared," while a registered nurse specializing in NOI medical needs spoke on essential health strategies during crises. The presentation emphasized safeguarding families, children, and senior household members when disaster strikes.

Attendees participated in an official ribbon-cutting ceremony, toured the iconic yellow Volunteer Minister tents, and enjoyed live performances by a local African percussionist. Visitors also explored information on 19 free online Scientology Volunteer Minister courses designed to improve conditions for individuals, families, and neighborhoods.

Following the San Antonio event, the West US Volunteer Ministers continued its extensive tour. Stops this year have included Las Cruces, Oklahoma City, and Tulsa, with the Volunteer Ministers having recently arrived in Springfield, Missouri.
