LONG BEACH, NY, September 11, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dustin Palay has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
In 2026, drawing on his recruiting background, Mr. Palay founded Aplyer.ai in New York City. Research shows that nearly 6 in 10 job seekers have abandoned a job application midway because it was too long or complicated (LiveCareer,2025). The biggest reason candidates walk away is the open-ended application questions, the free-text fields that ask things like "Why do you feel you are the right fit for this position?" or "Describe a time you encountered and solved a difficult problem". Most candidates either abandon these entirely or paste in generic AI-generated text that reads nothing like them. Mr. Palay built Aplyer.ai to solve this specific problem.
While other tools focus on mass-applying to jobs with one-click submissions, Aplyer.ai was created to help candidates answer the long written questions that most people skip because they take too long to write. The platform operates as a Google Chrome extension that works on employers' career pages, analyzing job descriptions and application questions alongside a candidate's resume and writing samples.
Powered by proprietary WriteDNA Technology, the tool uses stylometric analysis to learn how each candidate writes and generates answers that match their natural voice rather than producing cookie-cutter responses. Unlike other AI writing tools, Aplyer.ai was built from the perspective of someone who spent years on the hiring side of the desk, reading thousands of resumes and deciding which candidates were interviewed. The result is a tool designed not just to write faster but to write the way a recruiter expects to read them. Every completed application sounds like the candidate actually wrote it, not a chatbot. By helping candidates complete the applications most people skip, Aplyer.ai opens doors to opportunities with less competition.
From 2008 to 2026, Mr. Palay founded and led Ecoroq, a provider of commercial refrigeration solutions in the food service industry. He built relationships with Executive Chefs and Food Service Directors over nearly two decades, crediting authenticity and a willingness to solve real problems as the foundation of the business. From 2013 to 2020, he also served as co-founder and customer solutions lead at Refrigeration Solutions in Jersey City.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Palay spent 8 years as an Executive Recruiter at Kforce, a publicly held national staffing firm. During that time, he evaluated thousands of candidates and decided who advanced to employer interviews. He developed a deep understanding of how employers evaluate written communication, what language and structure signal a strong candidate, and why certain applications get read while others do not. That experience placed him on both sides of the hiring process, first as a candidate who entered recruiting after struggling through his own early job searches, and later as the person making forwarding decisions. This dual perspective is the foundation of Aplyer.ai and what separates it from AI writing tools built by software developers who have never sat in a recruiter's chair.
Mr. Palay's professional journey began at Dreyfuss Corporation in Uniondale and included roles at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. and Reich & Tang Asset Management in New York City. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Economics and Business Management from Cornell University in 1997.
Beyond his professional work, Mr. Palay has demonstrated civic commitment through volunteer work with several organizations. He continues to teach self-defense at Helen Keller Services for the Blind and contributes time as a volunteer with both the Lions and Leo Clubs. His interests include studying martial arts and coaching basketball.
Looking ahead, Mr. Palay aims to increase the visibility of Aplyer.ai so that more candidates can benefit from technology that truly reflects their individual voices during the difficult job application process. His goal is to help job seekers stop skipping the applications most people walk away from and compete for opportunities they would otherwise miss. Learn more at aplyer.ai.
