Ms. Haynes currently serves as chief executive officer at Claiborne Memorial Medical Center, a position she has held since 2019. In this role, she has guided the hospital through significant milestones, including leading the institution during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her efforts ensured staff safety and enabled Claiborne Memorial Medical Center to accommodate overflow critical-care patients from neighboring states. Ms. Haynes also achieved a major organizational milestone by unifying all three physician clinics in the parish under a single hospital-employed medical staff, overcoming more than a decade of previous unsuccessful attempts. Additionally, she founded the hospital's rural family medicine residency program, which trains new physicians and sustains the hospital's commitment to personalized rural care.

Before her appointment as chief executive officer, Ms. Haynes served as interim chief executive officer at Claiborne Memorial Medical Center in 2019. That same year, she was also chief operating officer at the facility, contributing to operational leadership during a period of transition.

In addition to her executive roles at Claiborne Memorial Medical Center, Ms. Haynes has been director of health information management at Union General Hospital since 2016. Her responsibilities there have included overseeing health information systems and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

From 1999 to 2016, Ms. Haynes was director of health information management at Brentwood Hospital. During her tenure, she developed expertise in clinical documentation and compliance, laying a strong foundation for her later leadership roles.

Ms. Haynes is actively involved in several professional organizations. She serves as an advisory board member for the American College of Graduate Medical Education and as a member of the board of trustees for the Louisiana Hospital Association. She is also affiliated with the National Rural Health Association, reflecting her commitment to advancing rural healthcare.

Her educational background includes a master's degree in legal studies with an emphasis in healthcare law and policy from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Science in health information management from Louisiana Tech University, where she graduated in 1995. These academic achievements have provided her with comprehensive knowledge of healthcare operations, legal frameworks and policy development.

Ms. Haynes holds several professional certifications that underscore her expertise in the field. She earned the registered health information administrator credential from the American Health Information Management Association in 1995.

She is also recognized as a certified rural hospital chief executive officer and a certified rural health clinic professional.

Throughout her career, Ms. Haynes has attributed her success to the unwavering support of her family — including her parents, sister, husband and son — as well as the faith instilled in her from an early age. She credits her team at Claiborne Memorial Medical Center for their collaborative spirit during both prosperous and challenging times, emphasizing that collective effort has been essential to achieving institutional progress.

Initially drawn to education by her family background, Ms. Haynes discovered it was not her calling and found her passion for science early on. After exploring nursing and laboratory work, she found her true vocation in health information management while attending Louisiana Tech University. The interdisciplinary nature of the field captivated her interest and set the stage for a distinguished career that began at Brentwood Hospital.

Beyond her professional responsibilities, Ms. Haynes is dedicated to civic engagement and advocacy work. Since 2005, she has been an advocate for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, using public speaking opportunities to raise awareness about pediatric cancer treatment and research. She is also an active participant in community educational programs within Claiborne Parish, coordinating guest speakers and supporting local initiatives.

Her contributions have been recognized with honors, including the Champion of Rural Medicine award from VCOM in 2025.

Born in Bossier City, Ms. Haynes enjoys reading, floating in the pool, listening to music, shopping and spending time with family outside of work commitments.
