RED HOOK, NY, September 11, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Cody A. Albrecht has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Marked by a steady progression of leadership and expertise in the financial sector, Mr. Albrecht is recognized for his impact as the owner and chief executive officer of Foresight Financial Strategies LLC. In this capacity since 2025, he has developed and refined a business model that emphasizes sustainability and scalability with the goal of replicating its success beyond his personal involvement. His focus has shifted from direct client servicing to organizational growth, enabling the firm to serve a broader base of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. Through strategic delegation as well as his cultivation of a strong internal team, he is building an enterprise that is capable of thriving independently of any single advisor.
Since 2015, Mr. Albrecht has also held the position of vice president at Valley Investment Planning. Managing a portfolio of approximately 120 clients — including many high-net-worth individuals as well as families and businesses — his responsibilities include advising clients on financial strategies, maintaining legacy advisory relationships, developing new business opportunities and strengthening the company's reputation for specially tailored and localized service. He has built strategic relationships through growth groups and executive coaching while identifying opportunities to delegate key functions within the firm, which allows him to prioritize both business development and the needs of his clients while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Throughout his career, Mr. Albrecht has distinguished himself as an expert in trust formation and business transitions. Notably, he completed an intensive 11-week course with the owner and president of Dunham Trust Company in Nevada, which has enabled him to guide his clients through complex tax situations that involve business sales or estate tax concerns. His proficiency in removing substantial assets from estates — even those exceeding current exemption thresholds — has proven invaluable for clients and families who are navigating significant financial changes. For example, he recently assisted clients who were transitioning from an S corporation after an initial public offering by dissolving the entity, restructuring its assets and facilitating trust formation to ensure the full protection of assets.
After beginning his career at Valley Investment Planning in 2015, Mr. Albrecht went on to obtain his license a year later. Though he initially served in administration despite being licensed, he aspired to work on Wall Street but was encouraged by a mentor to recognize the unique value of his path. In 2017, he purchased a business book that enabled him to step fully into the role of financial advisor — a pivotal decision that set the stage for his subsequent achievements in the wealth management sector.
Hailing from an equally accomplished academic background, Mr. Albrecht earned a bachelor's degree in speech communication and rhetoric from Iona University in 2015 and completed executive education in wealth management theory and practice at Yale School of Management in 2026. Dedicated to the ideals of continuous growth, he also holds Series 24, Series 66, SIE and Series 7 credentials from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) as well as insurance broker licenses for accident, health, life, variable life and variable annuity products from the New York and Pennsylvania Departments of Insurance.
Currently pursuing certification as a private wealth advisor as well, Mr. Albrecht continues to expand his skillset within trust and estate planning. He credits much of his success to overcoming profound personal challenges in 2022 when medical expenses related to cancer treatment placed an immense financial strain on his family. Rather than seeking outside assistance, he immersed himself in learning about business sales, trust management and estate planning — efforts that not only supported his family but also fueled referrals from new networks within the industry.
Mr. Albrecht's entry into the financial services sector was influenced by family tradition. His grandfather founded a financial advisement practice which is now managed by his mother; having frequented that same office since his childhood, he eventually chose to leverage this background by joining the family business after he graduated from college.
Personal interaction remains central to Mr. Albrecht's philosophy; he believes face-to-face meetings foster trust and security, both of which are particularly important given the contemporary concerns around cybersecurity when managing assets for clients whose businesses represent their life's work.
Beyond his primary roles, Mr. Albrecht is known for his active involvement with both civic-minded organizations and industry associations. He is a donor to the Baptist Home nursing home, Hope for the Children Ministries in Tampa FL, and volunteers with Habitat for Humanity, while his leadership experience includes serving on the boards of both the local chamber of commerce and Business Network International (BNI).
In honor of his exemplary service and client-centered approach, Mr. Albrecht was named as a Dunham Trust Choice Advisor by Dunham Trust Company in 2026 and was recognized alongside his Valley Investment Planning colleagues with Team of the Year honors from JW-Cole Financial in 2023. Additionally, he was acknowledged by the Dunham Advisory Board in 2023 for his exemplary investment expertise and client service.
In his personal life, Mr. Albrecht is happily married to his wife Heather, a speech-language pathologist who works in a nursing home setting. Together they are raising two adopted children, Grace and Connor, with another child on the way.
Though his career counts many highlights, Mr. Albrecht considers his family to be his greatest achievement and is currently writing a book that chronicles their journey together — one marked by resilience through adversity, unwavering support during health challenges and deep gratitude for every milestone they have reached as a family unit.
Looking toward the future, Mr. Albrecht plans to streamline his client base while expanding his offices along the East Coast with locations already established in Florida, Pennsylvania and New York. His vision is for Foresight Financial Strategies to become the premier destination for business owners who seek guidance on selling their company as well as launching new ventures. Through his steadfast dedication to professional growth, community service and family values, he continues to make meaningful contributions both within his industry and beyond it.
