MINNEAPOLIS, MN, September 14, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Richard Stoeckel III, MSF, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Stoeckel's professional journey reflects a steady progression through increasingly complex roles in finance and client service, culminating in his current position as an associate portfolio manager at Boyum Wealth Architects in Bloomington, Minnesota, which he began in late 2025. In this capacity, he is responsible for conducting due diligence on mutual funds, exchange-traded funds and alternative private investments. He regularly meets with vendors to evaluate these products, ensuring that clients receive value-driven solutions tailored to their needs. His responsibilities extend to trading, portfolio rebalancing and liquidity management, as well as mentoring interns and collaborating closely with his supervisor to deliver customized performance and reporting information to clients.

Prior to joining Boyum Wealth Architects, Mr. Stoeckel served remotely as a senior representative for variable annuities at New York Life Insurance Company in Minneapolis in 2025. Earlier that same year, he worked as a licensed insurance agent and registered representative at New York Life Insurance Company in New York City. These experiences provided him with the expertise to develop and enhance his client-facing skills.

In 2024, Mr. Stoeckel completed an investment banking internship at Nova Capital Global Markets in New York City, where he focused on impact investing projects, primarily across the emerging African market. His early career included positions at J.P. Morgan Securities within JPMorgan Chase & Co., first as an investment professional based in Chicago in 2022 and then continuing as a client service specialist from 2022 to 2024. At JPMorgan, he began with client service over the phone before advancing to more complex margin and equity options research questions, problem resolution, and assisting with the development of the firm's lean operations framework.

Mr. Stoeckel's foundation in finance was further developed through academic-related roles. He flourished as a tutor for Python programming and calculus concepts with Varsity Tutors in Chicago from 2021 to 2022 and as a virtual instructor at iD Tech Camps in 2020 during the height of the pandemic. He gained valuable analytical experience as a senior analyst for Loyola Chicago's Rambler Investment Fund in 2019, following a year as a junior analyst. Earlier academic and business positions included being a financial aid workshop leader at NextGenVest in Chicago.

Throughout his career, Mr. Stoeckel has demonstrated expertise in technical matters, serving clients and delivering results. He is particularly proud of holding Level I of the Chartered Financial Analyst charter and is actively pursuing Level II of the program. His commitment to professional development is further reflected in his current certification as a securities investment advisor representative with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and his prior completion of the SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 examinations.

Mr. Stoeckel's academic background includes a Master of Science in Finance from Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago, earned in 2022, following a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance, cum laude, and honors from the same institution in 2021. His academic excellence was recognized through selection for the business honors program under Kevin Stevens, Susan Ries and Amy Kyhos at Quinlan School of Business and Dean's Honors under Pamela McCoy — achievements also recognized by his membership in Beta Gamma Sigma.

Beyond his career achievements, Mr. Stoeckel has made significant contributions to causes important to him. Earlier this year, he founded the Gabe J. Maletta Memorial Scholarship for Mental Health through Bold.org Inc., honoring his grandfather's legacy as a psychiatrist by supporting high school seniors pursuing careers in mental health who exemplify his grandfather's values of kindness, patience and servant leadership. The inaugural scholarship will award $1,000 to one recipient, fulfilling a long-held ambition for Mr. Stoeckel, who hopes to expand its reach over time. Additionally, he serves as a crisis counselor for Crisis Text Line and volunteered as a fundraising stewardship volunteer for The American National Red Cross in Illinois from 2021 to 2024.

In his personal life, Mr. Stoeckel enjoys writing and reading about philosophy, exploring and creating different forms of art, and participating in his volunteer work. He strives to be recognized as someone who embodies servant leadership, demonstrating this value through his actions rather than simply directing others. He is passionate about inspiring those around him, as showcased through his mentoring of interns and his scholarship initiative supporting the next generation, recognizing the importance of mental health to continued societal growth and well-being.

Mr. Stoeckel attributes his early success to unwavering focus — a value instilled by his uncle who has encouraged him to forge his own path. In the upcoming years, he plans to complete the remainder of the Chartered Financial Analyst program and earn the CFA charter once eligible. He also aims to broaden his scholarship opportunities, continue volunteering with various organizations and potentially pursue international travel. Most importantly, he hopes to continue to have a positive impact on his community through ongoing service.
