Earlier roles include student researcher at Tehran University of Medical Sciences and medical intern at Tehran University of Medical Sciences from 2011 to 2012. His initial research experience began as a researcher at Iran University of Medical Sciences from 2006 to 2010.
Throughout his career, Dr. Jafarian-Kerman has achieved recognition for his work and leadership within professional organizations. He is the scientific chief of the lipids and cardiometabolic diseases Diseases State Network for the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology (AACE) and is also affiliated with the Endocrine Society. His research has also examined myocardial infarction outcomes, aspirin resistance and troponin biomarkers, appearing in journals such as Echocardiography and Acta Medica Iranica. Born in Fountain Valley into a family originally from Iran, Dr. Jafarian-Kerman returned with his family to Iran after the war in pursuit of improved prospects.
