Ms. Hernandez has served as a co-founder of HWS Advisors since 2024, where she provides strategic advisory services to government agencies and mission-driven organizations, leading business operations, governance, financial administration and technology management. Ms. Hernandez's responsibilities also include co-leading company strategy, service development, growth planning and market positioning while directing process improvement and organizational development. Additionally, she works closely with church leadership and volunteers to connect families with vital resources, such as employment opportunities, transportation, childcare, mentoring and community support, while leading program development focused on participant outcomes that include employment stability, financial literacy, childcare support and fostering a sense of community connection.

Before serving at the helm of HWS Advisors in Clayton, North Carolina, Ms. Hernandez held the position of senior inside sales manager at Wesco from 2025 to 2026. During her tenure, she contributed to the company's sales initiatives and played a key role in supporting organizational objectives within the OEM market segment.

Between 2022 and 2024, Ms. Hernandez was affiliated with Cardinality.ai, a software company that caters to government agencies. During this time, she rose from a manager of solution engineering to a Director of Solution Engineering. For nearly a decade earlier, Ms. Hernandez advanced through several roles at RedMane Technology, a software solutions and systems integration firm, from 2013 to 2022, beginning as a project business analyst and subsequently as a project manager of business development, practice/delivery manager for Canada and presales consultant.

Ms. Hernandez also worked for IBM as a business consultant and as a senior systems analyst at Accenture between 2011 and 2013. In these positions, she applied her expertise in technology strategy and business process improvement to support client needs. Ms. Hernandez's professional journey began with the County of Los Angeles and the State of California in 2000. Over this decade-long period, she held various roles, culminating in her role as a child support specialist. These early experiences provided her with a foundation in case management and public service.

Education has played a pivotal role in Ms. Hernandez's career progression. She completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Phoenix in La Mirada, California, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix online. Ms. Hernandez also holds several professional certifications that have further enhanced her capabilities, including certification in change management with a focus on planning, in solution sales, as a sales professional, as well as project management professional certification from the Project Management Institute, and credentials as a certified SAFe 5 Agilist.

Ms. Hernandez's membership in the Project Management Institute further demonstrates her dedication to professional excellence. Beyond her professional achievements, she is actively involved as a volunteer at her church, where she supports various community initiatives. Ms. Hernandez's civic engagement reflects a longstanding commitment to uplifting those around her. Furthermore, she has served as the director of El Roi Ministry at Generation Church since 2025, where she continues her commitment to community engagement by supporting programs that connect families with essential resources.

Throughout her more than 25 years supporting government agencies and public-sector organizations through technology modernization and operational improvement, Ms. Hernandez has achieved significant milestones. She has led functional architecture efforts for Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS) modernization initiatives that included cloud migration planning and compliance with federal technology and security requirements. Additionally, Ms. Hernandez has led and supported modernization initiatives for First Nations and Indigenous child and family service organizations across Canada. Her expertise has spanned government modernization, technology strategy, organizational readiness, procurement readiness, and solution engineering, among other areas.

Looking ahead, Ms. Hernandez aims to transform government agency operations by advocating for transparency and accountability in software implementation processes so that agencies can invest in solutions that genuinely serve their constituents' needs rather than being hindered by inefficiencies or excessive spending. Despite significant challenges along the way, including founding her own company as a first-generation Latin American, she has demonstrated unwavering determination and resilience while balancing motherhood with entrepreneurship.
