Ms. Koenig's distinguished career in financial services is marked by innovation, leadership and a commitment to client empowerment. Since founding KK Financial Solutions in Surprise, Arizona, in 2021, she has served as founder and chief executive officer, operating as a solopreneur with the support of a virtual assistant since 2022. Her firm utilizes a fee-based advisory model, enabling her to work with clients nationwide. In this capacity, Ms. Koenig manages all client-facing aspects of the business, including onboarding, paperwork, appointment scheduling and conducting annual and midterm reviews. She is recognized for her expertise in wealth management, insurance sales, long-term care planning and annuities, estate planning, and business valuations,with a particular focus on serving women business owners. Her client base spans generations, from young adults to seniors, and many relationships are built through referrals.

While establishing her own practice, Ms. Koenig was managing director for Greater Seattle and Snohomish County at eWomen Network from 2021 to 2022. In this role, she fostered connections among women entrepreneurs and professionals in the region. From 2015 to 2021, she worked as a financial advisor at Edward Jones in Mukilteo, Washington, where she began her journey in financial services after obtaining her Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses.

Before transitioning into finance, Ms. Koenig spent six years at Boeing as a project manager from 2009 to 2015. Her responsibilities included overseeing complex projects within the defense and aerospace sectors. This role followed an extensive 26-year military career with the Air National Guard from 1987 to 2013. She started as an enlisted electronic mechanic on the flight line before commissioning as an officer in 2000. Over the years, she held positions such as executive officer, maintenance officer and services commander during a deployment to Diego Garcia. There, she implemented an initiative that dramatically reduced logistics costs by sourcing water locally for bomber pilots — an achievement for which she was formally recognized and which remains one of her proudest professional milestones. Ms. Koenig also served as communications commander, operations officer and director of personnel before retiring as an officer in September 2013.

Throughout her career, Ms. Koenig has earned recognition for visionary leadership and strategic empowerment. She was named Visionary Leader in Financial Stewardship and Strategic Empowerment by CEO Maven in 2026 and was featured in a cover story by Mirror Review celebrating her leadership in financial empowerment. Other honors include being named one of the Top 10 Most Charismatic Leaders by CEO Vision in 2025, Most Influential Financial Services Businesswoman in the Western USA by Acquisition International in 2024 and Most Empowering Financial Services CEO in the Western USA by CEO Monthly in 2023. She is also a member of the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts.

Ms. Koenig's academic achievements have laid a strong foundation for her success across multiple industries. She earned a Master of Business Administration in supply chain leadership from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in 2012 and another Master of Business Administration, magna cum laude, in project management from Jones International University in 2007. Her academic journey began with a Bachelor of Arts degree in organizational management from Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska, in 1997 — completed while raising her young son.

Her professional credentials include insurance licenses from the State of Idaho Department of Insurance (2023), Arizona Department of Insurance (2023), Nebraska Department of Insurance (2023) and Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner (2015). Additionally, she holds both Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses from FINRA (2015). Raised by parents who both served in the military and instilled responsibility from an early age, Ms. Koenig credits her drive to succeed to these formative experiences and the high expectations set by her family.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Ms. Koenig is deeply engaged with civic organizations and charitable initiatives. She serves as president of the Greater Surprise Kiwanis Club, where she leads efforts such as building playgrounds, mentoring students and volunteering at the Surprise Food Bank. As director-at-large for media with the Air National Guard Non-Commissioned Officers Academy Graduate Association, she manages communications and helps raise scholarship funds for college-bound students. Ms. Koenig is also a life member of the American Legion.

Her military service has been recognized with multiple awards and medals, but two Air Force Meritorious Service Medals have been the most memorable to her; one for developing training programs for aircraft documentation systems between 1999 and 2002 and another for creating templates for recognition ceremonies and performance evaluations during her tenure from 2007 to 2013.

Ms. Koenig is also an accomplished author. Her first book, "Woman On Top: How to Win in a Woman's Way," was published by Epic Author Publishing in 2018. A book that reflects on her experiences in male-dominated fields such as the military, aerospace and financial services, while sharing insights from interviews with other women who have navigated career transitions. She is currently preparing to release a second book, which, at its heart, is about what happens when the life you have built no longer fits the woman you are becoming—and about having the courage to write the next chapter on your own terms.

Born in Lincoln, Ms. Koenig enjoys quilting, traveling by RV across the country with her husband Ron — whom she married after twelve years together — and riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles together. Their blended family includes four children: one son, one daughter, one stepson and one stepdaughter. The couple cherishes time spent visiting their eight grandchildren across Washington state, Nebraska and Georgia.

Looking ahead, Ms. Koenig plans to expand KK Financial Solutions by bringing on a second advisor whom she will mentor within her practice.
