Before founding HearthStone Project Management, Ms. Burr has devoted more than 15 years of service to Bay Path University in Longmeadow, Massachusetts. During her tenure on the Board of Trustees, she served as vice chair for three years and chair for three years, providing leadership through a period of institutional growth and transformation. Among her most notable contributions was helping oversee Bay Path University's acquisition and integration of Cambridge College in Boston, Massachusetts, a strategic initiative that expanded the university's reach and educational offerings. She also guided board activities, academic realignment efforts and presidential onboarding initiatives.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Burr held senior leadership positions with The Yankee Group, Forrester Research, Affinity Partners and National Cash Register (NCR) from 1988 to 2004. In these roles, she gained extensive experience in product development, strategic marketing, business operations and international partnerships, building the leadership and stakeholder management skills that continue to inform her work today.

Ms. Burr earned an associate degree, cum laude, from Bay Path University in 1986 and a bachelor's degree from Bryant University in 1988.

A lifelong curiosity about people and a commitment to continuous growth have shaped Ms. Burr's personal and professional journey. In 2026, she joined the board of The Ogunquit Playhouse, one of the nation's most historic regional theaters, supporting its mission of advancing arts education and theatrical programming throughout southern Maine. She served as trustee of The Chestnut Hill School beginning in 2014 and participated in board leadership and fundraising efforts for six years. In addition, she held several leadership roles at Trinity Parish of Newton Centre from 2010 to 2023, including warden and co-chair of the Sunday School program.
