Mrs. Holland has established a distinguished career in elder care services, marked by her expertise as an Aging Life Care Professional, also known as geriatric care manager and a Dementia Care Practitioner. Since 2019, she has served as the owner and founder of Superior Aging Care LLC in Orange County, California.

In this role, Mrs. Holland is responsible for conducting In-Home Comprehensive Assessments of older adults which evaluate environmental, social, clinical, and psychological aspects of well-being, whether at home, community, or facility. She provides families of their elder loved ones with this information to help them determine if intervention is necessary, such as home care, or if the elder person would have a better quality of life in a senior living community. Her expertise is in evaluating these factors, including the support systems in place, to present a well-developed Plan of Care now and in the future.

She also provides oversight if caregivers are in place to offer additional support and structure to the existing situation in home settings. She is keenly observant of areas that could potentially elevate the older adult's quality of life and provides many local and state resources to offer additional support.

Mrs. Holland communicates regularly with family members, coordinating and attending doctors' appointments with her clients, scheduling—providing regular updates to the family through phone calls, emails, and in a Care Management Data system.

Additionally, Mrs. Holland provides pro bono services when possible, offering guidance with Medicare and Medicaid matters, advocates for her clients during a medical crisis, and travels throughout Orange County to deliver these services. She also offers her expertise electronically through Zoom meetings or other online platforms.

Prior to founding Superior Aging Care, Mrs. Holland worked as a geriatric care manager at Caring Connections OC from 2015 to 2025. During this decade-long tenure, she developed a reputation for her person-centered approach to supporting elderly clients and their families through complex health challenges. From 2009 to 2015, she operated as an independent care provider, further honing her skills in direct client care and resource coordination.

Beyond her professional titles, Mrs. Holland is a member of the Aging Life Care Association and the National Association of Certified Care Managers, prestigious organizations that have provided her with ongoing education through webinars and conferences. Her pursuit of excellence led her to obtain national certification as a Certified Care Manager after several years of preparation and diligent study. Achieving this credential was a significant milestone that required overcoming life's challenges and building confidence through persistent effort. Additionally, she holds the designation of Certified Dementia Practitioner, reflecting her deep understanding of Alzheimer's Disease and other forms of Dementia with their unique challenges.

Mrs. Holland's academic background includes a Master of Science in Gerontology from California State University, Fullerton in 2019. This advanced degree was built upon her earlier achievements: a Master of Science in Education with a focus on elementary education and teaching from California State University, Fullerton, in 1987, and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Anderson University, Anderson, Indiana, in 1981.

After earning her master's degree in gerontology, Mrs. Holland opened a concierge-style home care agency licensed by the state of California. Although this venture was successful for five years, she realized she preferred direct client interaction over administrative duties and subsequently transitioned into more personal involvement with the families of elders.

Mrs. Holland's dedication extends beyond her business endeavors into civic engagement. She is actively involved with a large church community that includes many elderly members. Through this affiliation, she connects older adults with home agencies or other essential services and offers assistance to those who lack financial resources. Her commitment to pro bono work demonstrates her belief in equitable access to quality elder care regardless of economic status.

With an unwavering focus on professional growth, Mrs. Holland continually seeks new knowledge through senior service industry events and educational opportunities provided by organizations such as the Aging Life Care Association. She credits her ambition and determination as driving forces behind her success, always striving to keep both mind and body sharp.

In her personal time, Mrs. Holland values time spent swimming, gardening succulents, reading for leisure, traveling on occasion, and making sourdough bread. Family remains central to her life; she treasures relationships with her husband — who supports her business operations — as well as her son, grandson and daughter-in-law.

Looking ahead, Mrs. Holland intends to concentrate on supporting families affected by dementia by offering consulting services, hiring support workers when needed, coaching family members through caregiving challenges and advocating for clients' well-being. Rather than expanding her company, she remains dedicated to making a meaningful difference for each family she serves as a solo practitioner in Orange County.

Ultimately, Mrs. Holland wants families to know they do not have to navigate the aging journey alone — professionals are available to offer coaching and advocacy and to help identify the most suitable living situation, from aging in place to assisted living or memory care. She intends to offer these services for as long as she possibly can and is devoted to this work.
