Mr. DiFeo is a Principal and Market Leader at Bergmeyer, a Design Collaborative headquartered in Boston. Since joining the firm in 2011, he has played an increasingly significant role in shaping both its work and continued growth. Today, his leadership spans Bergmeyer's Commercial, Workplace, and Advanced Technology markets, where he works closely with clients and project teams to connect design thinking with business strategy, organizational goals, and the experiences of the people who ultimately inhabit the spaces Bergmeyer creates.

As a Market Leader, Mr. DiFeo helps clients navigate changing expectations around the workplace, emerging technologies, organizational culture, and the role physical environments play in supporting collaboration, focus, innovation, and connection. His responsibilities extend beyond individual projects to include market strategy, research, client relationships, business development, and the financial performance and long-term growth of the markets he leads.

More recently, Mr. DiFeo has helped expand Bergmeyer's work within the Advanced Technology sector, developing relationships with organizations working at the forefront of robotics, artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, and other emerging technologies. This work builds upon his experience designing environments at a range of scales and reflects his interest in creating spaces for highly technical organizations that remain distinctly human.

Since joining Bergmeyer, Mr. DiFeo has progressed from designer to Associate, Senior Associate, Associate Principal, and ultimately Principal. Early in his tenure, he contributed to significant projects including the restoration and transformation of the historic former Museum of Natural History building in Boston's Back Bay for Restoration Hardware. The project required close collaboration among the client, design team, preservation organizations, and city officials to balance the character of the landmark building with the needs of a contemporary retail environment.

Mentorship and professional development have also become central to Mr. DiFeo's leadership. As co-chair of Bergmeyer's Professional Development Committee, he supports colleagues in developing their skills, identifying opportunities for growth, and shaping their own career paths. He considers helping others build meaningful and lasting careers to be among the most rewarding aspects of his role as a Principal.

Prior to joining Bergmeyer, Mr. DiFeo was an Associate at Steffian Bradley Architects from 2006 to 2011, where his work included technically complex building envelope projects. Earlier roles with The Narrow Gate Architecture Ltd., Bernardon, Array Healthcare Facilities Solutions, and H2L2 Architects/Planners provided experience across affordable housing, health care, and a broad range of project types, establishing a foundation in both the technical and creative aspects of architectural practice.

Mr. DiFeo earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Philadelphia University in 1999 and holds the LEED AP BD+C credential since 2010, reflecting a longstanding commitment to responsible and sustainable design.

His professional involvement has included the Urban Land Institute, NAIOP, and MassRobotics, connecting his interests in design, real estate, technology, and the future of the built environment. He also contributes to his community through service on the Planning Board for the Town of Weymouth, Massachusetts, where he has served since 2023.

Mr. DiFeo's professional achievements have been recognized by the New England Real Estate Journal, including its Ones to Watch recognition among other numerous industry honors. He credits his career development to a willingness to pursue new opportunities, remain curious, work hard, and continually expand the boundaries of his practice. His interest in architecture began at an early age through his father, who was also an architect, fostering an appreciation for drawing, design, and the ability of the built environment to shape how people experience the world.
