VINEYARD, UT, September 24, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Joshua E. Jolley has been recognized for achievement in precast concrete design engineering and CAD technology.

Mr. Jolley currently serves as a product design engineer with NWPX Geneva, a position he has held since 2024. In this capacity, he applies his expertise in civil structural engineering to support the company's mission and operations. His transition to this role was facilitated by prior professional connections with the organization during his tenure at D&L Supply, which provided him with valuable industry familiarity.

Among Mr. Jolley's most significant professional achievements is passing the Professional Engineer exam after six months of rigorous study in July, a pivotal milestone in his career that underscores his commitment to excellence in the engineering field.

Before joining NWPX Geneva, Mr. Jolley worked as a CAD technician at Horrocks from 2023 to 2024. During this period, he gained practical experience in structural engineering, computer-aided design, further developing his technical skills while completing his academic studies. Prior to this, he spent more than a decade at D&L Supply from 2012 to 2023 as a project manager. In this role, Mr. Jolley managed drawings, estimating and sales for custom steel items in the fabrication division, building a foundation of leadership and project oversight.

From 2009 to 2012, he served as a rebar detailer at Harris Rebar, where he was responsible for preparing detailed drawings for rebar installation in construction projects. Mr. Jolley began his professional journey as a project designer with Cloward H2O from 2007 to 2009, focusing on computer-aided design work for swimming pools and water parks.

Mr. Jolley has active memberships in several industry organizations, including the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Concrete Pipe Association and the American Concrete Institute. These affiliations reflect his dedication to ongoing professional development and engagement with advancements in civil engineering.

Mr. Jolley's academic background includes earning a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Magna Cum Laude, from Utah Valley University in Orem in 2025. This achievement followed six years of part-time study while balancing full-time employment and family responsibilities. He also holds an associate degree in computer drafting and design from ITT Technical Institute in Murray, completed in 2009. His educational journey was shaped by an early interest in engineering identified through aptitude tests after high school; however, initial challenges led him to pursue drafting and design before ultimately returning to complete his engineering degree.

Motivated by a desire to provide for his family and guided by personal standards of perfectionism and reliability, Mr. Jolley has established himself as a knowledgeable resource among peers and colleagues. His commitment to teamwork and community involvement further exemplifies the values that have propelled his success. Reflecting on his own journey back to school, he has come to believe that it is never too late to start over and pursue one's dreams — that regardless of the challenges one might face in life, it is always possible to set new goals and achieve them. He maintains an active home life alongside his wife, Heidi, who works remotely supporting professional leadership development workshops and their three children.
