A defining milestone in Ms. Levi's career was her leadership in establishing an audiological clinic within Desert Voices. She spearheaded the initiative from start to finish, raising approximately $450,000 to bring the vision to life, overseeing the construction process, and navigating the necessary compliance. Within just one year, the clinic opened its doors and welcomed its first patient. Today, the clinic serves not only children enrolled at Desert Voices but also families throughout the broader Arizona community. Through the clinic, low-income families have access to free hearing aids and essential audiological services helping ensure that financial barriers do not stand in the way of a child's ability to hear, communicate, and thrive.

Before her current position, Ms. Levi served as the interim executive director at Desert Voices, where she continued to advance the organization's mission during a period of transition. From 2009 to 2022, she held the role of development director, focusing on building relationships with donors and securing essential funding for programs. Earlier in her tenure with the organization, Ms. Levi worked as an office manager and administrative assistant, gaining hands-on experience in daily operations and administration. Over more than 15 years at Desert Voices, she has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to supporting children and families through innovative educational services.

Notably, Ms. Levi's entry into the field was serendipitous. She accepted what was intended to be a temporary assistant role at Desert Voices through a connection on the board. What began as a three-month assignment evolved into a dedicated career spanning nearly two decades.
