Hailing from three decades of diverse experience, Mr. Albertsen's recent career has been defined by his leadership at Spicy Gator Productions, LLC, and DBA Albie's Art, where he serves as chief executive officer and art director. In this capacity, under the banner of Spicy Gator Productions, his VFX and animation studio, he oversees a talented team of animators, artists and technical staff, directs and programs video game projects, develops original animated series and character designs, and collaborates and coordinates with both domestic and overseas partners and enterprises on cinematic storytelling, scriptwriting, voice acting and other creative initiatives.

In his additional duties under the Albie's Art moniker, Mr. Albertsen oversees and manages the manufacturing of a vast variety of physical and digital products, including custom challenge coins, 3D models and printing, collectible merchandise, digital artwork and other custom-designed products. This work also involves collaborating and coordinating with domestic and overseas manufacturers, vendors, partners and enterprises to bring custom projects from concept and design through production and delivery. A few of Mr. Albertsen's most notable projects to date include designing the cover art for three of Ace Johnson's books in his 2021 fantasy novel series, "Warrior Women of Superian Island," which have appeared on multiple Amazon Best-Seller lists, as well as serving as coordinating producer and contributing limited post-production work on the television thriller series pilot "The Things I Didn't Do." His expertise in visual effects (VFX) and animation production, CGI and game development, art direction, and custom challenge coin design and merchandising has positioned him as a respected figure in the entertainment industry.

Throughout his career, Mr. Albertsen has demonstrated exceptional dedication to advancing the creative arts while building strong industry partnerships within the Orlando, Florida, area. Notably, he collaborated with Marco DiGeorge of Truthful Acting Studio on voice acting for his animated series "Echo's Wake" and served as the consulting producer on a project directed by Fernando Torsetti for Brazilian-based Kling Brothers Entertainment. Prior to establishing Spicy Gator Productions, Mr. Albertsen held the roles of chief executive officer and art director at Unchained Production, LLC, also an Orlando-based company, for two years. During this period, he continued to build his reputation for creative leadership and innovation while managing day-to-day operations and collaborating with fellow creatives on various projects and features.

Outside of his endeavors in the creative entertainment industry, Mr. Albertsen worked as a security officer at Universal Orlando Resort in Florida for nearly three years, contributing to the safety and security of one of the region's most prominent entertainment destinations as a corporal and field training officer.

Mr. Albertsen's diverse experience includes work as a service desk analyst for Holiday Inn Club Vacations — during which he assisted over 100 clients each day with technical and computer-related matters — as well as programming and server construction responsibilities in his role as a solution artist at PoundTeam Inc. and work as a McDonald's crew member for Oerther Foods in Davenport, Florida. From 2010 to 2012, he was employed as a security guard with Wackenhut, (now G4S Limited), where he played a pivotal role in maintaining safety and securing of corporate assets for BP at numerous field locations during the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, as well as protecting employees, customers and the public at multiple Bank of America locations during the Occupy Wall Street protests.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Albertsen served as an over-the-road driver for Werner Enterprises in Nebraska after earning a class A commercial driver's license, ensuring the safe and secure delivery of valuable cargo across the United States. From 2006 to 2008, he was a network operations center analyst with the Texas-based information technology provider Perot Systems.

Working as the assistant superintendent of Robert M. Albertsen, Inc. from 2003 to 2006 and as the owner and president of Albertsen Drafting Services, Inc., during the same period, Mr. Albertsen gained vital leadership and management experience while collaborating with vendors and third-party contractors on commercial and residential projects across Florida. He began his design career as a structural and architectural designer with CH Design from 2002 to 2003, generating blueprints and drawings for residential and commercial construction assignments.

Mr. Albertsen's foundational professional experience was shaped by his military service as an operations sergeant and team leader with the United States Army's 82nd Airborne Division from 1997 to 2001, followed by an additional short-term contract in 2005 with the Florida National Guard's 3rd Battalion, 265th Air Defense Artillery Regiment. His time in the military, which saw him serve in challenging environments including Kosovo and the Sinai Peninsula, among others, not only provided him with valuable leadership skills but also inspired his ongoing commitment to veteran organizations such as Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and the 82nd Airborne Association. Recognized by the Army for his distinguished service, he was awarded the Expert Infantryman Badge, U.S. Army Parachutist Badge and German Parachutist Badge, along with various other military awards and decorations.

Mr. Albertsen's educational background has been integral to his success across multiple fields. He completed studies in virtual production, animation, interactive technology, video graphics and special effects at the Digital Animation and Visual Effects (DAVE) School of Digital Arts in Florida. His outstanding achievements during this time include being part of the graduating class that created the popular 2023 short "The Unending," which earned a Silver Telly Award and was featured on the school's YouTube page.

Dedicated to the ideals of continuous learning, Mr. Albertsen has obtained many professional certifications to support his diverse career trajectory. He was certified in residential construction and as an armed security guard by the State of Florida, in architectural drafting by Charlotte Technical Center, and as a truck and bus driver by Werner Enterprises. He also completed a team leadership course during his time in the U.S. Army, further enhancing his ability to serve.

Reflecting on his storied journey to date, Mr. Albertsen attributes his success to always surrounding himself with intelligent people who have influenced both his creative vision and business acumen. After completing his military service, he founded Albertsen Drafting Services in 2002 to focus on residential, commercial and industrial structures until economic shifts during the 2008 recession prompted him to explore new opportunities across information technology, trucking, security work and ultimately digital animation.

Also known for his civic-minded contributions, Mr. Albertsen, along with his business partner and fellow creative Josh Boesch, has served as a donor and fundraising coordinator for Richland County Cold Case initiatives, contributed custom-made challenge coins through fundraisers supporting the Historical Society of the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and designed and donated a fundraising coin for the Joint Special Operations Association at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, in collaboration with third-party designer Patrick Grecinger.

Today, Mr. Albertsen happily resides with his wife Jo in Kissimmee, Florida — a location chosen for its proximity to Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort, which remain favorite destinations for them both.
