Through her work, Ms. Lodhi-Rahman is especially proud of her role in securing critical government funding from agencies like the NIH and the National Cancer Institute. This funding supports vital cancer research, beginning with laboratory testing in mice and advancing to human clinical trials. Ms. Lodhi-Rahman regards her ability to manage these complex processes as a culmination of her diverse career experiences.

From 2021 to 2023, Ms. Lodhi-Rahman broadened her international perspective as a research center administrator for the Center for Quantum and Topological Systems at New York University Abu Dhabi. There, she co-managed operations alongside the principal investigator, supporting researchers through budgeting, seminar management and day-to-day administration to ensure the smooth functioning of the center.

Ms. Lodhi-Rahman's earlier tenure in Abu Dhabi included work as a project manager in medical education for a company called Medetarian Conferences Organizing. In this role, she organized continuing medical education conferences for healthcare professionals, managed CME accreditation and collaborated with global pharmaceutical sponsors. The events Ms. Lodhi-Rahman coordinated drew international attendees and speakers, sometimes exceeding 1,000 participants.

In addition to her formal employment roles, she demonstrated entrepreneurial initiative while living in Abu Dhabi by running a jewelry business specializing in sourcing 24-karat gold jewelry for American clients seeking purity difficult to find locally.

Before her time in the United Arab Emirates, Ms. Lodhi-Rahman held the position of finance associate at Ernst & Young (now EY) from 2007 to 2011. Her work focused on internal finance operations within the multinational public accounting firm. Notably, Ms. Lodhi-Rahman continued to work with Ernst & Young while pursuing her graduate studies in obtaining her M.B.A.

Ms. Lodhi-Rahman began her career as an assistant buyer specializing in women's petite apparel for Foley's (now Macy's) between 2003 and 2007. She was responsible for purchasing for a network of over 70 stores, marking her entry into corporate retail.

Ms. Lodhi-Rahman's academic credentials include an undergraduate degree from the University of Houston, graduating with a bachelor's degree in finance in 2005. She subsequently received a Master of Business Administration from Cleveland State University in 2010 with the support of a scholarship awarded by Ernst & Young.

Beyond her professional achievements. Ms. Lodhi-Rahman's commitment to service extends into civic engagement. Earlier, Ms. Lodhi-Rahman voluntarily served as the treasurer for the British School, Repton Abu Dhabi.
