Bolsen is the Chief Executive Officer at 3W, a Nevada-based LLC, and leads the remote company from its headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee. 3W's clients span across the country and across a variety of occupations. Since the inception of his journey into consulting, Bolsen has worked closely with AffirmedRx, a Public Benefit Corporation, in various consulting roles while helping to advance the stewards' efforts to deliver patient-centered innovation and solutions within the pharmacy benefit management sector. Alongside his primary roles, Bolsen has been professionally affiliated with the Forbes Business Council since 2025.

Prior to his entrepreneurial endeavors, Bolsen spent nearly a decade with Purdue for Life Foundation in West Lafayette, Indiana. His last role as the executive director of development for health, life and computational sciences is where he oversaw fundraising management for the College of Education, College of Science, the Purdue Institute for Cancer Research, the College of Pharmacy, the John Martinson Honors College, and several more Purdue-based schools. Throughout his time as a higher education fundraising professional, Bolsen closed multiple principal and transformational gifts to secure funding for leadership priority campaigns and projects.

Bolsen grew up on a multigenerational farm in Lovington, Illinois, an experience that instilled in him a strong work ethic and shaped his leadership style. He was a multi-sport all-state student-athlete in high school and was inducted into the Lovington High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 2016. He continued to compete academically at the NCAA Division III-level during his time at Eureka College in Eureka, Illinois, where he was a scholarship recipient and fellow in the Ronald W. Reagan Leadership Program.

His undergraduate studies culminated in dual Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees in business administration with a focus on sport management and communication in 2013, prior to earning a master's degree in recreation, sport and tourism with an emphasis in sport management from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2015.

Devoted to the ideals of continuous professional growth, Bolsen is enrolled in a certificate program in financial planning and services through Boston University, further enhancing his long-term abilities to create impact for clients.
