He earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Adult Education from the University of Georgia in 2011, completing the program while working full-time as a teaching assistant and instructor. In addition, Dr. Prasuhn also holds a Master of Education in Instructional Technologies from American InterContinental University, earned in 2004; a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Asbury Theological Seminary, awarded in 1990; and a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministries and Church Music from Asbury College, earned in 1986. Each degree was attained through perseverance and hard work between periods of employment.

Complementing his academic credentials, Dr. Prasuhn has pursued professional certifications that enhance his ability to serve clients effectively. He is a resident agent licensed in the State of Georgia for 2026 to 2027. In 2024, he earned Bookkeeping Basics from Intuit and Google Agile Essentials. He completed a Google Project Management Certificate from Coursera in 2022, followed by Essential Habits for Salesforce Admins from Salesforce, and a second Google Project Management Certificate from Coursera in 2021. Originally from Ohio, Dr. Prasuhn was raised in a multi-generational household — his maternal grandmother, who was wheelchair-bound, lived with the family for the last 20 years of her life. He also spent regular weekends on his paternal grandparents' family farm in Ohio, an experience that left a lasting impression on him. He is the eldest sibling and the first generation in his family to earn both a college degree and a Doctor of Philosophy. His upbringing instilled values of resilience, hard work, and service to others, principles demonstrated by his parents' willingness to help neighbors during difficult times and support elderly widows even when facing their own challenges.

Dr. Prasuhn wants people to know that applying faith to life and helping others can make a genuine difference. This belief is central to who he is, and he draws a clear distinction between faith and religion in how he approaches his life and work. Rather than being driven by financial gain, his primary motivation is to positively impact the lives of financially underserved individuals — helping them understand their financial circumstances and make lasting, meaningful changes.

At home on more than 100 acres of the original family farm in Georgia, Dr. Prasuhn lives with his husband.
