From 2001 to 2009, Dr. Serebro was a partner at Olonoff Asen & Serebro LLP, where he chaired the firm's real estate and corporate departments, handling complex real estate and business transactions and further establishing his reputation for sophisticated legal analysis and strategic decision-making.

Earlier in his career, he was an associate at Squadron Ellenoff Plesent & Sheinfeld LLP, providing legal services to prominent clients including Lehman Brothers and News Corporation — an early opportunity that strengthened his foundation in business and real estate law.

Before entering law, Dr. Serebro developed a technical background in environmental science, serving as director of strategic development of the Water Supply System at the New York City Department of Environmental Protection, where he applied his analytical expertise to large-scale infrastructure development projects. Dr. Serebro is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the New York City Bar Association. He is also a member of the United States Tennis Association and remains active in competitive tennis at the national and international levels.

His academic background reflects a combination of mathematical, technical and legal training. He earned a Master of Science in applied mathematics from Odesa State University (Ukraine) and a Ph.D. in environmental engineering from the Moscow Institute of Civil Engineers (Russia) before completing his Juris Doctor at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in White Plains, New York. He credits this pre-legal education with sharpening the analytical skills he now applies to drafting complex agreements and managing multi-party negotiations.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Serebro is committed to humanitarian work. Following Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, he responded to an urgent appeal from Kyiv's largest children's hospital, helping arrange the procurement and shipping of vital medical equipment for critically ill children sheltering underground. He has also supported refugee sponsorship through the Uniting for Ukraine (U4U) program, encouraging community groups to collectively support displaced Ukrainians seeking safety in the United States.

Outside the law, tennis remains central to Dr. Serebro's life. A certified tennis professional, he continues to compete in singles events at an elite level, with the ambition of representing the United States on the international stage.
