Additionally, Mr. Tang is the managing partner of Mirra Social Entertainment, a role he assumed in 2024. Also in 2024, he became the Pacific Northwest Franchisee-owner for Eggslut, overseeing the brand's regional development and operations, further demonstrating his expertise in multi-unit operations management and franchise development.

Since 2021, Mr. Tang has served as the founder and chief executive officer of Salt & Light Holding, a diversified holding and management company with investments and operations across the food, hospitality, entertainment and other business sectors. Through Salt & Light Holding and its affiliated companies, Mr. Tang oversees a portfolio of businesses and continues to pursue new opportunities through strategic investment, development and operational management.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Tang began as a senior software developer at Microsoft from 2013 to 2018. He contributed to the development of Windows 10 and later worked on Azure cloud services for four to five years. During his tenure at Microsoft, he was awarded a patent related to Windows 10, marking a significant professional milestone.

Mr. Tang's academic background includes a master's degree in electrical engineering from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, earned in 2013. He also holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Peking University in Beijing, China, completed in 2007. His education provided him with analytical skills and technical knowledge that have been instrumental throughout his career journey. Born and raised in China, Mr. Tang developed an early appreciation for Asian cuisine that was further shaped during four years living in Toronto, Canada. Observing emerging trends in fusion foods inspired him to address gaps in diverse culinary offerings after relocating to Seattle for his role at Microsoft. This realization ultimately motivated him to pursue entrepreneurship and celebrate multicultural influences through innovative food concepts.

He also supports Seattle Children's Hospital as a donor. Among his personal achievements is winning the gold medal at the National Violin Competition in China two decades ago.

In his personal life, Mr. Tang is dedicated to his family. He enjoys playing recreational soccer, performing the violin at church services and coaching his three children in sports and other activities.
