As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Dr. Cam Kashani, SSD, MBA, is an award-nominated transformational keynote speaker, author, conscious leadership expert, entrepreneur and podcast host whose work focuses on helping women reclaim their power, develop deep self-trust and lead authentically. Known professionally as "The Spiritual Surgeon™," she brings together more than fifteen years of public speaking and leadership experience with an extensive entrepreneurial background and her own profound personal transformation. Her work today centers on feminine leadership, authentic power, conscious leadership and helping high-performing women move beyond burnout, overachievement and disconnection from themselves to become more self-trusting, fulfilled and impactful leaders.

Since 2015, Dr. Kashani has led Cam Kashani Inc., through which she speaks to corporations, universities, conferences and organizations on women's leadership, personal transformation and conscious leadership. Throughout her speaking career, she has addressed audiences at prominent companies, organizations and academic institutions, including ServiceTitan, the American Red Cross, the University of California, Los Angeles, the University of Southern California, Loyola Marymount University, the University of California, Riverside, California State University, Northridge and California State University, Fullerton, among others.

One of the defining chapters of Dr. Kashani's speaking career was her selection as an expert speaker for the United States Department of State. From 2015 to 2020, she participated in the Department's international speaker programming and traveled to Bahrain and Kuwait to empower women and youth through entrepreneurship, leadership and personal development. Her work was part of broader efforts designed to strengthen communities and counter extremism by expanding opportunity and empowerment among women and young people.

From 2015 to 2017, Dr. Kashani additionally served as a special adviser for entrepreneurship and innovation in connection with the U.S. Department of State, providing insight into entrepreneurial ecosystems and innovation. Her international work remains among the experiences that most deeply shaped her evolution as a speaker and leader.

Dr. Kashani is also the author of "Becoming Unfckwithable: A Woman's Guide to Transform Pain into Power," a book that draws upon her own journey of healing and transformation to help women understand how their wounds can become pathways to greater personal power. Through the book, she introduces the RISE Method™, her framework for guiding women from pain and disconnection toward embodiment, self-trust and authentic power.

She is also the host of "Conscious Conversations with Cam," a podcast exploring healing, spirituality, personal power, relationships, feminine leadership and the journey of becoming more deeply connected to oneself. Through her speaking, writing and podcasting, Dr. Kashani brings deeply personal subjects into conversations about leadership and human potential, drawing from the belief that meaningful leadership begins with the relationship individuals have with themselves.

In 2024, Dr. Kashani co-founded Divinus LVX, a conscious leadership company dedicated to developing sovereign, conscious leaders from the inside out. Working with companies and executives, Divinus LVX focuses on the inner foundations of exceptional leadership, helping leaders cultivate greater self-awareness, clarity, integrity and personal sovereignty. Its philosophy is rooted in the belief that true leadership begins within and that when leaders transform their relationship with themselves, the impact extends throughout their organizations, influencing culture, decision-making, performance and long-term results. Through this work, Dr. Kashani brings together her background in entrepreneurship, spirituality, psychology and transformational leadership to help redefine what powerful, conscious leadership can look like in today's organizations.

Before devoting her career primarily to speaking, writing and transformation, Dr. Kashani established herself as an influential figure in the Southern California technology and startup ecosystem. She is a serial entrepreneur who has built four companies and has worked with thousands of entrepreneurs and hundreds of startups throughout her career.

Among her most notable entrepreneurial ventures was CoLoft, which she co-founded in 2010. One of Los Angeles' earliest coworking communities created specifically for technology startups and entrepreneurs, CoLoft became an important gathering place within the emerging Los Angeles technology ecosystem. Its alumni community included entrepreneurs and companies associated with organizations such as Uber LA, Instacart, Fullscreen and others. Her contributions to the city's entrepreneurial community earned Dr. Kashani recognition as the "Godmother of Silicon Beach," a moniker that became associated with her work supporting the growth of Los Angeles' startup ecosystem.

Following CoLoft, Dr. Kashani co-founded COACCEL: The Human Accelerator in 2016, serving as chief executive officer and supporting human-centered business and leadership development until 2019. Between 2017 and 2021, she served on the advisory board of the SXSW Accelerator, helping support emerging entrepreneurs and innovative companies. She also advised the Bixel Exchange Accelerator at the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce from 2015 to 2017.

Earlier in her career, Dr. Kashani served as a global facilitator and organizer for Startup Weekend from 2010 to 2016, supporting entrepreneurship initiatives and startup communities around the world. In 2015, she worked as a community connector with BCG Digital Ventures.

Dr. Kashani's industry involvement has included membership in the Forbes Coaches Council and past membership in the Young Entrepreneur Council. In 2014, she was selected as a member of the Los Angeles Magazine Woman of the Year Selection Committee.

Her accomplishments have received significant recognition throughout her career. She was named among Inc. Magazine's inspirational women in technology and has been nominated four times for a Women's Leadership Award by the Los Angeles Business Journal. In 2017, she received a Heart-Centered Tech Leadership Award from the California State Senate. Her work and career have also been featured in media outlets including Forbes, Entrepreneur, Los Angeles Magazine, the Los Angeles Times and Delta SKY Magazine.

Dr. Kashani has also contributed thought leadership to Forbes, writing about entrepreneurship, women's empowerment, personal development and leadership. Her perspective is informed by the intersection of business experience, psychology, spirituality and lived experience, allowing her to address leadership from both organizational and deeply human perspectives.

Her academic background reflects this multidisciplinary approach. Dr. Kashani earned a Doctorate in Spiritual Studies from Emerson Theological Institute in California in 2021. She holds a Master of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship and Marketing from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, earned in 2010, and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from California State University, Northridge, earned in 2004.

Furthering her expertise in human transformation and personal development, Dr. Kashani completed an advanced certification in spiritual psychology at the University of Santa Monica in 2019 after earning a certification in spiritual psychology there in 2018. Together, her education in business, entrepreneurship, spirituality and psychology has shaped the interdisciplinary perspective she now brings to audiences and organizations.

Dr. Kashani attributes much of her success to persistence, self-responsibility and a willingness to transform adversity rather than be defined by it. Her own path has included significant professional and personal setbacks, including business failures, the loss of CoLoft, divorce and rebuilding her life while raising young twin sons as a single mother. These experiences ultimately became catalysts for a profound period of personal growth and helped redirect her career toward the transformational work she does today.

Her entry into coaching and transformational public speaking was catalyzed by the upheaval surrounding her 2013 divorce and the loss of CoLoft. As she began rebuilding her life and examining her own patterns of disempowerment, she recognized similar struggles in other high-achieving women. What began as sharing her own journey evolved into a professional mission to help women understand that their most difficult experiences do not have to define or diminish them and can instead become gateways to greater self-awareness, leadership and power.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Dr. Kashani has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to civic and community involvement. She has served as a board member for the American Red Cross since 2020 and previously co-chaired the Innovation Board for the Los Angeles chapter of FWD.us from 2015 to 2019.

Born in Tehran, Iran, Dr. Kashani immigrated to the United States with her family as a young child and was raised in Los Angeles. Her experience as a Persian woman, entrepreneur, mother and leader has informed her perspective on identity, resilience, belonging and the ways women learn to relate to their own power.

Family remains central to Dr. Kashani's life. She is married and the mother of twin sons, and she considers her relationships with her husband, children and family an integral part of the life she has consciously created. Outside her professional commitments, she enjoys meditation, spending time outdoors, physical movement, dancing, music and time with her family.

Looking ahead, Dr. Kashani intends to expand her impact as a keynote speaker and thought leader in feminine and conscious leadership. Her mission is to help women remember and reclaim the power they possessed before external expectations taught them who they were supposed to be. Through her speaking, writing and transformational work, she seeks to redefine what powerful leadership can look like for women — moving beyond models rooted solely in overwork, overachievement and burnout toward leadership grounded in self-trust, authenticity, embodiment and sustainable success.

Ultimately, Dr. Kashani's work is rooted in the belief that when women become deeply connected to themselves, they do not simply transform their own lives; they become more powerful leaders capable of strengthening organizations, influencing culture and creating meaningful change for those around them.
