Among Mr. Reece's most significant achievements since joining Pacific Gas and Electric Company has been spearheading a project that identified wasted spending on postage, envelopes, printing and paper for mailers that customers were no longer reading. By piloting a test group of 10,000 recipients and analyzing the resulting 3% response rate, Mr. Reece helped implement changes that now save the company $2 million annually.

Additionally, Mr. Reece played a pivotal role in revamping the process for setting up utility poles in California. Through his collaboration with the joint pole department and legal team, he addressed longstanding delays caused by frequent disputes from AT&T. Mr. Reece was instrumental in limiting AT&T's dispute window to three days and requiring payment of an outstanding $87 million bill before further progress could be made.
