In 2025, he joined First American Title Insurance Company as the Northeast Regional Underwriting Counsel, based in New York. In this capacity, he oversees underwriting for the Northeast region within the Commercial Services Division (NCS), closing complex commercial real estate transactions. His responsibilities include underwriting title insurance policies, drafting legal agreements, managing escrow processes, coordinating closings and post-closing support, and reviewing regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Mr. Holley's expertise extends to facilitating multifaceted transactions such as 1031 like-kind exchanges, defeasance transactions, corporate buyouts, and mergers, working with parties nationwide to underwrite and insure commercial properties.

Before his current role, Mr. Holley served as a Vice President and Senior Underwriting Counsel for the Denver NCS office of First American Title from 2017 to 2025. During this period, he played a pivotal role in underwriting and closing commercial real estate transactions and issuing title insurance policies for buyers and institutional lenders across all 50 states. His work included managing remote closings, collaborating with local counsel and agents, and ensuring seamless execution of funding and disbursements. Mr. Holley is most proud of his ability to close a diverse range of real estate transactions, including mergers, equity buyouts, and membership interest purchases, with an anticipated total exceeding $10 billion in transactions this year alone. He has been recognized as a key contributor to First American Title's strategic execution of closing transactions totaling approximately $3+ billion annually for new industrial and multifamily housing developments.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Holley held several operational leadership positions outside the legal field. From 2011 to 2015, he was the Operational Quality Assurance Team Leader at Michigan Education Special Services Association (MESSA), where he oversaw quality assurance initiatives within the organization's medical claims department. Between 2008 and 2011, he served as an Operational Supervisor at Meritain Health, ensuring adherence to production/quality metrics and overseeing a staff of more than 40. Mr. Holley's professional journey began at Survey Sampling International (now Dynata), where he advanced from market research roles into Director of Operations from 2001 to 2008.

Mr. Holley's academic background includes a bachelor's degree in business management from Utah State University in Logan, Utah, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. These educational achievements have provided him with a strong foundation in both legal analysis and business operations, skills that have proven invaluable throughout his career. Mr. Holley was admitted to practice by the Colorado Bar Association in 2018.

Committed to advancing the legal profession, Mr. Holley maintains active involvement with industry organizations. He serves as a member-at-large on the real estate section council of the Colorado Bar Association, where he reviews proposed legislation impacting real estate law in Colorado. In this capacity, he recently contributed to the passage of a Mortgage Modification Act that provides borrowers greater access to mortgage modifications in cases of reduced interest rates or forbearance. His testimony before the Uniform Law Commission of Colorado was instrumental in shaping the final version of this legislation. Additionally, Mr. Holley has served as faculty for the Colorado Bar Association's 2024 Real Estate Symposium and as a member of the Executive Council of the Colorado Bar Association's Real Estate Section.

Throughout his career, Mr. Holley has developed expertise in commercial real estate, title insurance, contract drafting, escrow accounting, and, among other areas of his field, documentation and reporting.
