Mr. Christopher has distinguished himself through a remarkable career spanning more than 45 years, earning recognition as an expert in his field. Since joining USA Architects, Planners and Interior Designers Ltd. in 1989 as Principal, and later as the Director of Technical Services, he has provided leadership through client engagement, project oversight, and team direction. Beyond his project responsibilities, he has played a pivotal role in mentoring emerging professionals, providing technical guidance across a wide range of projects, and supporting the development of future principals within the firm.

A defining aspect of Mr. Christopher's tenure has been his unwavering commitment to fostering talent and advancing professional growth. During his two decades as Director of Technical Services, mentorship and staff development have become increasingly important and rewarding components of his role. As he approaches retirement, he takes particular pride in sharing his knowledge and experience with younger generations of architects and design professionals, helping ensure the firm's continued success and leadership.

Since joining USA Architects in 1989, Mr. Christopher has played a pivotal role in shaping the firm's technical excellence and project delivery. Among his most significant achievements has been serving as a lead architect for the PPL Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania, a major mixed-use development that includes a hockey arena, hotel, commercial complex and parking garage spanning an entire city block. This project stands as the largest of his career and was developed in partnership with a Colorado-based sports facility specialist. Mr. Christopher's portfolio also features major institutional works, such as the Berks County Prison and numerous school district projects. Another highlight was the completion of The Stable at Lord Stirling Park in Somerset County, New Jersey, which allowed him to unite his lifelong passion for horses with his architectural expertise.

Mr. Christopher's educational journey began with an associate degree in architecture from Mercer County Community College in West Windsor Township, New Jersey, graduating in 1975. He continued his studies at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, earning a Bachelor of Architecture in 1979. This academic foundation equipped him with both technical proficiency and creative vision, enabling him to excel in complex architectural environments throughout his career. In addition to his formal education, Mr. Christopher holds certification as a registered architect in several states. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), reflecting his commitment to professional standards and continuing education within the discipline.

Throughout his career, Mr. Christopher has maintained active membership in several prominent industry organizations. In addition to the AIA, he is affiliated with the International Institute of Building Envelope Consultants (IIBEC), and the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI). These memberships have provided Mr. Christopher with ongoing opportunities for professional growth and engagement with peers across the architectural field.

The values instilled by his upbringing, working hard, being honest, treating others fairly, and with respect, have guided Mr. Christopher's approach to leadership and collaboration throughout his professional life. A family legacy has also shaped Mr. Christopher's path, inspired by his father's work as a builder, contractor, and construction manager. He knew from eighth grade that architecture would be his calling. Over time, Mr. Christopher had the unique experience of renovating several public buildings originally constructed by his father, a testament to both continuity and innovation within their family tradition.

Looking forward, Mr. Christopher intends to continue mentoring younger staff at USA Architects while helping develop new principals as part of his legacy within the firm. After retirement from professional practice, he plans to focus on personal goals alongside his partner, Joellen Redfield, on their newly acquired property in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, developing it into a homestead for themselves and their animals. Mr. Christopher's enduring dedication to architecture is matched by his commitment to mentorship and family heritage, qualities that have defined both his career trajectory and personal life over nearly five decades in the profession.
