From 2022 to 2025, Ms. Dinh served as head of finance for VinFast and Vingroup's U.S. operations. Beginning in early 2022, she played an instrumental role in supporting VinFast's entry into the U.S. market from its initial setup of showrooms in California and operating infrastructure to market-entry research, feasibility studies, financial planning and the evaluation and selection of potential sites for manufacturing facilities, distribution centers and other operations in the U.S.

Ms. Dinh oversaw major operating funds for Vingroup and VinFast's U.S. manufacturing, automotive distribution and corporate activities. Her responsibilities included budgeting, cash-flow management, governance, statutory compliance, financial reporting and coordination across multiple business functions and professional advisers.

She also contributed to VinFast's preparation for its 2023 Nasdaq listing, supporting financial readiness, transaction documentation, share administration and ownership transfers while representing Vingroup's interests in the United States. As an authorized signatory for VFS, she executed share certificates and related instruments and continued to manage post-IPO transactions, including subsequent share transfers, shareholder documentation and ongoing reporting and compliance matters. Through these assignments, she developed a detailed understanding of the financial, regulatory and operational requirements involved in establishing and scaling an international business in the U.S.

Before relocating to the United States, Ms. Dinh served as senior manager of corporate finance at Vingroup from 2018 to 2022. Across her roles at Vingroup and VinFast, she worked closely with the group's senior leadership, reporting directly to the chairman and vice chairwoman on strategic financial matters, major transactions and international expansion initiatives for retail, technology and industrial sectors.

During this period, she helped lead major transactions, including a merger and acquisition deal between Vingroup and Masan valued at approximately $3.3 billion. This transaction involved the sale of a retail network comprising 3,000 grocery and convenience stores and required direct engagement with Masan Group's chairperson. These achievements underscored Ms. Dinh's ability to execute large-scale deals and navigate complex regulatory environments.

For a decade between 2008 and 2018, Ms. Dinh worked as a business consulting manager at EY (Ernst & Young), where she managed international business consulting projects for multinational corporations. Her work provided extensive exposure to corporate transformation, finance operations, regulatory requirements and cross-border business practices. She previously served as a senior finance associate within EY's core function in the first 2 years, strengthening her foundation in financial management and professional advisory services.

Ms. Dinh began her career at Caterpillar Inc. in Vietnam, serving as a senior management accountant and assistant to the chief financial officer from 2004 to 2008. The position gave her early exposure to multinational operations, financial management and global supply chains, including cross-border transactions between Vietnam and the United States, Singapore and Hong Kong, establishing the foundation for her later work in international finance and business expansion.
