BALTIMORE, MD, October 01, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Students pursuing careers devoted to relieving pain and improving health can now apply for the Pain Relief and Wellness Scholarship, a $1,000 award sponsored by Mid Atlantic Spinal Rehab & Chiropractic, a provider of chiropractic care and physical therapy in Baltimore, MD since 2012. Applications will be accepted through August 31, 2027, and the recipient will be announced in September 2027.

"Every day, our doctors and staff see how much relieving pain can change a person's physical and mental health," said founder Dr. Marc Gulitz. "This scholarship lets us invest in a student who shares that purpose, whether they plan to become a chiropractor, a physical therapist, a nurse, or another provider focused on helping others recover."

Eligibility and Application Requirements

The scholarship is open to students enrolled in accredited undergraduate, graduate, or professional programs in the United States, including community college students. High school seniors and GED holders who have been accepted to or are enrolled in an accredited program also qualify. Applicants must hold a cumulative GPA of at least 2.00 and submit the following materials by email:

• An essay of 1,000 words or fewer explaining what inspired the applicant to help people with pain, what they have done so far toward that goal, and how their education will help them achieve it.
• An updated resume.
• A current unofficial transcript.

The scholarship is not limited to one field of study, but each essay must demonstrate a clear commitment to pain relief and wellness.
