SPARTANBURG, SC, October 01, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Justin W. Holloway has been recognized for his work as a trial lawyer and his service to South Carolina.
Mr. Holloway is an attorney at Knie Beatty & Holloway in Spartanburg. His practice focuses on representing people and families affected by catastrophic injuries and wrongful death, as well as pursuing class actions and mass tort litigation. The firm handles cases involving motor vehicle and workplace accidents, nursing home neglect, medical malpractice, dangerous products, workers' compensation, and insurance bad faith. Mr. Holloway brings his experience in investigation and trial work to cases that require careful preparation and a willingness to take on well-resourced defendants.
Service in the armed forces has been an important part of Mr. Holloway's professional life. After serving in the U.S. Army Reserve's Judge Advocate General's Corps from 2016 to 2024, he joined the South Carolina Air National Guard in 2025. He values the opportunity to continue serving alongside fellow South Carolinians and credits his military experience with deepening the accountability and sense of duty he brings to his legal practice.
Before joining Knie Beatty & Holloway, Mr. Holloway served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of South Carolina from 2018 to 2025, handling complex federal criminal cases. He began his career in public service as an Assistant Solicitor for South Carolina's 13th Judicial Circuit. Earlier, he clerked for the Honorable Henry M. Herlong Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina.
Mr. Holloway earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Furman University in 2009 and a law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2012. While in law school, he served on the editorial board of the Georgia Journal of International & Comparative Law and co-authored an article published in the Penn State Law Review. His professional affiliations include the South Carolina Association for Justice and the National Guard Association of South Carolina.
His honors include a U.S. Attorney's Award in 2021 and commendations for his public service in both the Department of Justice and the Department of Defense. Outside his legal and military work, Mr. Holloway supports the United Way and serves on the board of Search Ministries. He previously served on the board of the Shoeless Joe Jackson Museum.
Looking ahead, Mr. Holloway hopes to strengthen Knie Beatty & Holloway's work on behalf of people harmed by negligence, malfeasance, and wrongdoing, while continuing his military service and involvement in the Spartanburg community.
