SEFFNER, FL, October 01, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mr. Samara currently serves as a Project Manager with Ackerman Plumbing, LLC, where he oversees commercial plumbing projects from planning and coordination through completion. Since advancing into project management in 2025, he has managed and supported a range of commercial, residential, medical, and institutional projects, including complex high-rise and large-scale developments. His responsibilities include coordinating field operations, working closely with foremen and project teams, and maintaining communication with general contractors, engineers, architects, and other project stakeholders.

One of the most significant projects in Mr. Samara's career has been 400 Central in St. Petersburg, Florida, a 46-story, 515-foot high-rise that remains the tallest residential building on Florida's Gulf Coast. The more than $400 million development is one of the largest and most prominent construction projects in the region.

Mr. Samara initially joined the 400 Central project as an Assistant Project Manager before being promoted to Project Manager. He subsequently assumed sole project management responsibility for Ackerman Plumbing's scope and led the project through its final 14 months of construction and completion. His responsibilities included coordinating field operations, managing project stakeholders, addressing complex construction issues, and overseeing the completion of the plumbing scope on one of the company's largest contracts.

Before becoming a Project Manager, Mr. Samara served as an Assistant Project Manager with Ackerman Plumbing from 2024 to 2025. He joined the company in 2023 with prior experience as a Project Foreman and was promoted to Project Foreman with Ackerman just a few months after joining. In that role, he managed field operations and coordinated daily project activities.

Mr. Samara spent the previous decade with McLain Plumbing & Mechanical. From 2020 to 2023, he served as a Project Foreman, managing field operations and coordinating plumbing and mechanical work. He previously worked as a Journeyman Plumber and Pipefitter after completing a five-year apprenticeship through United Association Local 123 and earning his Journeyman Plumber License in 2019. His years in the field established the technical foundation and hands-on experience that continue to influence his approach to project management.

Mr. Samara's interest in the skilled trades developed from an early passion for cars, mechanics, and hands-on fabrication. He began his working life at Cold Stone Creamery while attending high school, graduating in 2009. He remained there for approximately another year before beginning his career in the automotive industry as a mechanical technician at Tires Plus Total Car Care.

From 2012 to 2014, Mr. Samara worked as a Retail Sales Manager with Advance Auto Parts. During this period, he continued developing his automotive skills outside of work, operating a garage where he repaired vehicles during nights and weekends. At the same time, he attended Hillsborough Community College while considering his long-term career path.

His interest in fabrication eventually led him toward the skilled trades. Wanting to learn more about pipefitting and welding, both to develop fabrication skills that could be applied to his automotive projects and to explore a promising career change, Mr. Samara joined United Association Local 123. He entered the union's apprenticeship program in 2014 and ultimately focused his career on plumbing, earning his Journeyman Plumber License in 2019.

Throughout his career, Mr. Samara has remained involved as an active member with United Association Local 123 and has continued developing both his technical and management qualifications. He attended Hillsborough Community College before entering the union apprenticeship program and later earned his Journeyman Plumber License through the UA Plumbers & Pipefitters Local Union 123 Trade School. He also holds a project management certification from the Mechanical Contractors Association of America.

A defining characteristic of Mr. Samara's approach to construction is his attention to detail and emphasis on quality. His experience working directly in the field has shaped his management philosophy, particularly his focus on understanding the practical challenges faced by tradespeople and anticipating issues before they affect a project. That combination of field experience and project-management responsibility has become an important part of his approach to leading construction teams.

Outside of construction, Mr. Samara enjoys spending his free time working on cars and making music. He has a particular interest in Japanese cars from the 1980s and 1990s, especially Toyotas, and spends time building, modifying, and maintaining his automotive projects. He is also an avid musician, with drums as his primary instrument, followed by piano and bass. He enjoys writing and recording music in his spare time.

Looking ahead, Mr. Samara intends to continue developing his career in project management while pursuing opportunities for greater leadership responsibility within the construction industry. His long-term goal is to apply his field experience, technical knowledge, and project-management skills in increasingly senior roles while continuing to support the success of the teams and projects under his direction.

Mr. Samara's career reflects a progression from hands-on work in the skilled trades to project management, combining technical experience in the field with the coordination and leadership responsibilities required to manage complex construction projects.
