HIGHLANDS RANCH, CO, October 07, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- MacClain "Mac" Figueroa has been featured on the Marquis Masters Podcast. The podcast celebrates leaders and innovators who have shaped industries and inspired generations. Each episode features an intimate conversation with a Marquis honoree, uncovering the personal stories behind their professional success. The show reveals what it truly takes to lead with purpose, resilience, and authenticity.

The latest episode of the Marquis Masters Podcast, hosted by Nick Franck, features an in-depth conversation with Mr. Figueroa, founder and CEO of Rad Adventures Mobility Lab, about entrepreneurship, outdoor adventure, personal resilience and the emerging technologies reshaping how people move.

Mr. Figueroa's entrepreneurial journey began with a simple goal: helping friends experience the outdoors. A longtime mountain biker, snowboarder and outdoor enthusiast, he eventually transformed that passion into a business offering e-bike adventures and other ways for people to remain active and connected to the outdoors. Over time, however, injuries and the realities of aging led him to a broader question: how can technology help people maintain mobility and continue doing the activities they love?

That question ultimately changed the direction of his company.

During the episode, Mr. Figueroa recounts how an unexpected layover in Canada during a trip to Japan introduced him to the potential of lower-body exoskeleton technology. While wearing an exoskeleton during an extended airport layover, he experienced what he describes as a striking improvement in how his legs felt after prolonged walking. That experience prompted him to explore the technology further and rethink the mission of Rad Adventures.

What began as an outdoor adventure company evolved into what Mr. Figueroa describes as a mobility lab, focused on helping people identify technologies and products that may help them stay active and continue moving.

"I decided that when I left the corporate world, I'd help people continue staying mobile."

The conversation also explores Mr. Figueroa's vision for the future. While his company originated in outdoor recreation, he sees artificial intelligence as playing an increasingly important role in mobility technology. He discusses AI-powered exoskeletons capable of responding to a person's movements, as well as an AI assessment tool intended to help identify appropriate exoskeleton technologies and exercises based on individual input.

For Mr. Figueroa, technology is ultimately a means to a larger goal: helping people remain active and engaged with the world around them.

The episode also touches on Mr. Figueroa's experiences with injury and recovery. After suffering a serious knee injury in a skiing accident, he spent a year in physical therapy and explored a variety of approaches to addressing the problem. Those experiences reinforced what he describes as a lifelong tendency toward problem-solving and perseverance.

"It's just exposure," Mr. Figueroa says of learning to work through difficult situations. "But you got to have the wherewithal. You know, you gotta have the stamina to endure it."

Beyond mobility technology, Mr. Figueroa discusses his newly published book, Ride America: The Best E-Bike Trails from Coast to Coast, which combines stories from his travels with practical information for e-bike riders, including trail recommendations, equipment considerations and battery care. He also discusses his commitment to safety and responsible recreation, including his recognition as a gold-level Bicycle Friendly Business by the League of American Bicyclists.

Throughout the episode, Mr. Figueroa returns to a central philosophy: mobility is about more than physical movement. It is about maintaining the ability to participate, explore, learn and connect with other people.

The conversation concludes with Mr. Figueroa reflecting on entrepreneurship and the lessons he would give his younger self. After spending 21 years in the corporate world, he encourages listeners to build something of their own while gaining the education, experience and relationships that come from a traditional career path.

His broader message is one of personal initiative and contribution: build something meaningful, keep learning, help other people and continue moving forward.

The latest episode of the Marquis Masters Podcast offers listeners a candid look at how an unexpected experience, a willingness to experiment and a lifelong passion for adventure can lead to an entirely new entrepreneurial vision.
