Ms. Dusco's professional journey of over two decades is marked by a steady progression through increasingly responsible roles in business strategy and procurement. Since the beginning of 2024, she has contributed her expertise to Linde Engineering in Buffalo, New York, where she initially focused on standardizing procurement processes for the company, created efficient procedures to facilitate her team's work, and implemented strategic sourcing and cost optimization initiatives. Her responsibilities included monitoring global disruptions such as the war in Ukraine and ensuring that buyers had access to critical information in order to make fully informed decisions.
In 2025, Ms. Dusco advanced to the position of head of procurement for turbomachinery at Linde Engineering. She continues to drive process improvements and foster collaboration within her team, leveraging her analytical skills to support operational excellence across the organization while building and maintaining key vendor relationships.
Before joining Linde Engineering, Ms. Dusco was a strategic buyer at Power Drives Inc. from 2022 to 2024. During this period, she applied her knowledge of sourcing and negotiation to enhance procurement outcomes for the company and performed supplier business reviews to improve costs as well as quality and delivery services.
From 2015 to 2021, Ms. Dusco owned and directed Escola Sabido, a preschool in São Paulo, Brazil. This role stands out as a defining chapter in her career; initially joining as a partner while she still worked at Alstom Transport, she assumed full ownership of the school after six months when her partner became unavailable. Managing two demanding roles simultaneously was challenging but provided her with invaluable learning experiences.
The COVID-19 pandemic marked a turning point for Ms. Dusco and Escola Sabido. Faced with mandatory closures and financial uncertainty, she prioritized the well-being of her 25 employees by developing creative solutions to maintain operations and support their mental health. She introduced a new product tailored to the pandemic's restrictions, established an agreement with the government and implemented health protocols that enabled her team to provide key services within residential communities. This initiative not only sustained the business but also significantly increased its customer base and recognition throughout the city.
Prior to leading Escola Sabido, Ms. Dusco spent a decade at Alstom Transport, a French multinational company recognized globally for its transportation solutions. From 2013 to 2017, she held the role of contract manager, overseeing agreements and contributing to project success during a period of significant industry transformation. She spent three years as a process and performance manager, where she was responsible for evaluating workflows and driving managing supplier contracts. She joined the company in 2007 as a sourcing coordinator, organizing procurement activities and identifying both risks and opportunities.
Ms. Dusco began her career as a sourcing and supply chain supervisor at MCS Engenharia in São Paulo from 2002 to 2007, which equipped her with foundational experience in logistics, cost reduction and supplier management.
Hailing from an equally accomplished academic background, Ms. Dusco earned a Master of Business Administration from Fundacao Instituto de Administracao in São Paulo in 2013, a Master of Business Administration in project management from Fundação Getulio Vargas in 2012 and completed an international module in project management at the University of California Irvine Paul Merage School of Business in 2011. Her undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Business Administration from Centro Universitário Capital as well as a bachelor's degree in teacher education and professional development from FACAB.
To augment her knowledge and leadership qualifications, Ms. Dusco completed the "Creating a Culture of Continuous Improvement" course through LinkedIn in 2025 and was certified in nonprofit essentials by NonprofitReady in 2022.
