SALEM, VA, October 14, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- M. Brandon Ayers, Esq., has been recognized for achievement in the legal industry.

Mr. Ayers has distinguished himself as the owner and senior attorney at Ayers Law Firm in Virginia since 2014. Over the course of more than a decade in this capacity, he has represented clients in criminal defense and family law matters, offering guidance and mentorship to individuals navigating complex legal circumstances. Mr. Ayers's expertise in these areas is widely recognized, and he is praised for achieving a high level of proficiency in both criminal defense and family law. In addition to his client representation, he has managed and rebuilt his solo law practice, focusing on a more sustainable approach after experiencing rapid growth early in his career.

Before establishing his own firm, Mr. Ayers served as of counsel for a restaurant and hospitality company in Lynchburg, Virginia. In this role, he gained valuable experience that contributed to his understanding of legal practice and client relations.

Mr. Ayers's academic journey began as the first member of his family to attend college, graduating from Emory & Henry University with a bachelor's degree in 2008. He continued his education at the school of law at Liberty University, earning a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2020. These achievements are particularly notable given his background growing up in a small Virginia town where generations of his family worked for a cotton factory and financial resources were limited.

As an active member of the Virginia State Bar, Mr. Ayers maintains professional standards within the legal community. Beyond his legal involvement, he is civically engaged through Rotary International and by volunteering with church outreach programs. Mr. Ayers also serves as a board member for an organization affiliated with Emory & Henry University, furthering educational opportunities for others.

During his tenure at Ayers Law Firm, Mr. Ayers encountered a significant professional challenge when a dissatisfied client filed a complaint with the Virginia State Bar following his withdrawal from her case and the return of her full fee. The bar found him at fault and suspended him, an experience that Mr. Ayers regards as the most difficult of his career but also the most instructive. This event prompted a period of reflection and reevaluation, leading him to relaunch his firm with a narrower focus on criminal defense and traffic law. The support he received from colleagues, judges and clients during this time reinforced Mr. Ayers's belief that practicing law is not just a profession but a calling.

Throughout his career, Mr. Ayers has found fulfillment not in singular victories but in the daily practice of law itself. He considers being part of what he calls "the noble profession" as his greatest accomplishment, particularly when he is able to offer grace and humanity to clients who might otherwise face judgment. Mr. Ayers finds working with young people and juveniles especially meaningful, believing that encouragement at critical moments can change lives for the better.

In light of his accomplishments, Mr. Ayers has been recognized with several honors, including as the first academic inductee into the Hall of Fame by the Virginia High School League, selection among the Top 40 Under 40 by National Trial Lawyers and recognition as the Top Criminal Defense Firm in Salem, Virginia. He attributes his success to persistence, resilience and an unwavering refusal to quit, qualities shaped by overcoming adversity both personally and professionally. Mr. Ayers believes deeply that every person has purpose and value as long as they have breath, drawing strength from setbacks and using those experiences to serve others.

Mr. Ayers remains creatively active outside of law, having recently appeared in a short film and collaborating on a screenplay titled "The Convict." Looking ahead, his goals are modest and values-driven. He intends to continue helping individuals while focusing on personal growth as both a lawyer and an individual, maintaining practices that have proven effective while stepping away from those that have not.
