TWIN FALLS, ID, October 14, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Angelo Trujillo has been recognized for achievement in publishing.

Mr. Trujillo's career as a local author has been marked by dedication, resilience and a steadfast commitment to his craft. In November 2025, he celebrated the publication of his debut novel, "Angel Tru: Pursuit of Peace," through Trilogy Christian Publishing, marking the culmination of nearly seven years spent seeking the right publishing partner. Since then, he has maintained an active contract with Trilogy Christian Publishing and is currently working on two additional titles while exploring an independent spinoff project for Amazon. His daily routine centers on faith, content planning for streaming and social media platforms, and developing new ideas for future projects. Mr. Trujillo's professional journey is also shaped by his expertise in storytelling, music and building rapport with others — qualities that have earned him recognition as a charismatic communicator.

Before launching his literary career, Mr. Trujillo served in the United States Navy in 2017 at the age of 19. Although his military tenure lasted approximately 11 months, he carries a deep sense of pride in his service and credits this period with instilling discipline and perseverance that would later inform his writing. Following his honorable discharge, he faced challenges finding employment and navigated periods of depression, but ultimately found renewed purpose through his faith and creative ambitions.

Mr. Trujillo's academic achievements have played a pivotal role in shaping his professional success. He graduated from Idaho State University in 2026 with a bachelor's degree in English, with an emphasis in creative writing and a minor in film studies. This educational foundation was chosen deliberately to support both his literary aspirations and his interest in cinematic adaptation, ensuring he could remain closely involved should any of his works be adapted for film. During his studies, Mr. Trujillo earned a certificate in basic Japanese and received formal recognition for his participation in the university's Japanese program. He was also named to the dean's list twice at his local college, reflecting consistent academic excellence despite significant obstacles.

Completing his degree stands as Mr. Trujillo's proudest achievement. While enrolled as a full-time student, he overcame a skin cancer diagnosis that required treatment over the course of a month, all while maintaining strong academic performance. He also participated in a study abroad program in Japan, which proved both rewarding and financially demanding due to additional tuition costs. After several years of medical monitoring, he has been declared cancer-free.

His faith in Jesus Christ remains central to every aspect of Mr. Trujillo's life and work. He attributes all successes — from overcoming personal hardships to achieving professional milestones — to this guiding belief, which provided strength during periods of uncertainty throughout his teenage years and early adulthood.

Beyond writing and publishing, Mr. Trujillo is actively engaged with civic-minded organizations through his church community. He serves as a music instructor at his church, volunteering time to help develop new musicians as part of its broader mission. Additionally, he maintains close ties with a smaller international church in Japan and is part of a congregation that will soon be affiliated with an international organization.

Recognition for Mr. Trujillo's achievements extends into public forums as well. He has been featured in Magic Valley Magazine under the headline "Local Sci-Fi Author Sets Book Signing in Twin Falls" and highlighted by the South Idaho Press (Times-News). His book "Angel Tru: Pursuit of Peace" is available through online retailers including Waterstones in the United Kingdom, signaling early international reach for his work.

Born in Twin Falls, Mr. Trujillo enjoys digital content creation for social media platforms such as Twitch and YouTube, photography, playing music — particularly drums — going to the gym, writing and spending time with family. Although maintaining these interests can be challenging amid professional demands, they remain important outlets for creativity and connection.

Looking ahead, Mr. Trujillo hopes to marry his fiancée and travel the world together while continuing to write new books and expand his audience through streaming platforms like Twitch. As he advances professionally, he aims to invest more seriously in marketing efforts and ultimately give back more generously to his church community. At the heart of all endeavors lies an enduring desire to serve others through both personal actions and creative contributions.
