CLIFTON, VA, October 19, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Elizabeth Stagg has been recognized for achievement in construction management.

Ms. Stagg's distinguished career in construction permit expediting is anchored by her longstanding tenure as vice president of the Regulatory Administrative Management Company (RAMCO) of Virginia LLC, a role she has held since 1996. For three decades, she has been pivotal in managing the company's operations, which focus on obtaining commercial building permits for developers, architects and other clients seeking to construct buildings in the City of Alexandria, Virginia, and throughout Arlington County. Her daily responsibilities include tracking and managing a portfolio of over 80 active permitting projects, submitting architectural and engineering drawings for review, guiding each project through the complex municipal permitting process and securing final permit approvals.

Ms. Stagg's expertise in municipal permitting processes and regulatory compliance is widely recognized, particularly within the jurisdictions she serves. Over the years, she has cultivated strong and lasting professional relationships with local reviewers and officials, allowing her to expedite legitimate applications efficiently without circumventing established procedures.

Though her tenure at RAMCO counts many milestones, Ms. Stagg takes particular pride in her work on high-profile projects, such as securing permits for Amazon's two new towers in Arlington County, the Patent and Trademark Office buildings in Alexandria, and the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority's headquarters. These projects often involve lengthy approval timelines and multiple rounds of revisions, making their successful completion a testament to her perseverance and depth of knowledge. She finds special satisfaction in moving major construction initiatives forward, especially when overcoming obstacles that can delay permits for a year or longer.

Prior to joining RAMCO, Ms. Stagg worked at Booz Allen Hamilton, where her experience provided valuable exposure to corporate operations and business management before she transitioned into the construction permitting sector. Ms. Stagg began her professional journey answering phones at Federal Computer Week Magazine. Although she initially aspired to move into writing roles within this field, she ultimately determined that her interests lay elsewhere, leading her to seek opportunities better aligned with her skills and passions.

Before venturing onto her construction management path, Ms. Stagg pursued higher education and earned a Bachelor of Arts in broadcast communication, with a minor in historic preservation, from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1987. As the university did not offer a formal historic preservation program at the time, she designed many aspects and courses of the minor herself, which ultimately led to widespread recognition for her accomplishments both inside and outside the classroom.

Reflecting on her storied journey to date, Ms. Stagg attributes much of her success to determination and what she describes as "stick-to-itiveness," seeing projects from inception through to completion and maintaining fierce loyalty both to RAMCO and its client base. Her colleagues recognize her as dependable, while clients appreciate her honesty regarding realistic timelines and outcomes.

Beyond her core professional achievements, Ms. Stagg has been committed to civic-minded causes through volunteer work with a local animal rescue group. On a personal level, Ms. Stagg enjoys fishing both offshore and in freshwater settings, attending concerts and spending time outdoors. She is an enthusiastic supporter of the Washington Capitals hockey team, as well as the Washington Commanders football team, often incorporating references to these franchises into her client interactions as a way to build rapport.

Looking toward the future, Ms. Stagg plans to retire from her current position as vice president but intends to remain active within the field by transitioning into consulting work. She anticipates continuing successful collaborations with RAMCO on a consultancy basis.

Resilience has defined Ms. Stagg's journey both personally and professionally. Her legacy is marked by an unwavering dedication to advancing major construction projects across Northern Virginia while upholding the highest standards of integrity within the industry, all with the overarching goal of helping those in need through everything she does.
