EDMONDS, WA, October 19, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Melissa Woods has been recognized for achievement in writing, speaking, vlogging and storytelling focused on human resilience and courage.

Ms. Woods is the founder of Lumina Media Agency and its brand, Bravery In Motion (2026–present), a conversation-based media platform dedicated to health, mental resilience and stories of personal courage. After more than 25 years in business-to-business technology sales, she made the bold decision to leave a secure corporate path and build her own platform, a decision that reflects the very courage she now champions. As founder, she sets the brand's vision and growth strategy, secures sponsorships and partnerships, and leads a team that includes a social media manager, a video editor and a longtime consultant who has worked alongside her for a decade.

Launched in February 2026, the Bravery In Motion vlog celebrates the courage of everyday people, showing that bravery is universal and lives in ordinary lives. Guests come through personal connections, community recommendations and an online submission portal that invites anyone to share their own moment of courage.

Ms. Woods is the author of "Getting Past Anxiety" (Aviva Publishing, 2017), a book eight years in the making. She has written for major magazines, contributed widely as a blogger and appeared as a guest speaker on podcasts and at live events.

In her technology sales career, she was named Representative of the Month and earned the Highest Achiever distinction. She also served actively with regional chambers of commerce and the Rotary Club.

A graduate of Seattle University, Ms. Woods holds a Bachelor of Arts in art history with a minor in photography, a visual foundation that shapes the filmed interviews at the heart of Bravery In Motion.

Committed to her community, she serves on a committee for The Salvation Army, working to connect her platform with efforts that address food insecurity, housing and financial hardship.
Ms. Woods attributes her success to unwavering self-belief, relentless drive and a genuine desire to help others tell their stories. Her mission is to express her highest self while uplifting others through authentic connection, creating spaces where people can share their experiences of bravery without fear, however they define it. She believes that being human is itself an act of courage worth celebrating.

Looking ahead, she plans to expand her presence across major social media platforms and return to public speaking on larger stages, using storytelling rooted in authenticity and empathy as a force for healing, connection and global impact.

Outside her work, Ms. Woods enjoys fitness, reading, travel, a lifelong love of cinema and time with her family.
