MARYVILLE, TN, October 19, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Curt Kiser has been recognized for achievement in information technology (IT) services.

Mr. Kiser's professional journey reflects a distinctive and adaptive path through the information technology sector. Since 2022, he has served as the chief operating officer at Allevia Technology, where he oversees over 40 employees and manages operations for between 415 and 430 clients. In this capacity, Mr. Kiser is responsible for addressing personnel matters, monitoring inter-divisional dynamics and refining internal processes to resolve challenges in sales, project management and implementation. He also actively analyzes operational data over extended periods to identify trends and implements strategic changes aimed at continuous improvement.

Before his current role, Mr. Kiser held the title of continuing improvement officer at Allevia Technology from 2020 to 2022. During this period, he focused on optimizing workflows and enhancing organizational efficiency as the company navigated significant growth. Between 2018 and 2020, Mr. Kiser contributed as an IT help desk specialist for the organization, supporting both employees and clients with technical issues and establishing a foundation for his later leadership roles.

Before joining Allevia Technology, Mr. Kiser worked in IT application support at Value Added Solutions Inc. from 2014 to 2018. In this position, he provided critical application support as a subcontractor for the U.S. Department of Energy in Oak Ridge, specifically assisting with the K25 site's demolition efforts. Mr. Kiser's responsibilities included supporting application processes tied to one of the most historically significant industrial sites in the country.

Mr. Kiser began his transition into technology by accepting a help desk support role at Regal Cinemas following encouragement from a friend who recognized his aptitude for problem-solving and adaptability. This initial experience introduced him to the field despite his non-technical academic background.

In preparation for his future, Mr. Kiser earned a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in history and religion from Maryville College in 2008. Although his original aspirations were to become a pastor or professor, the analytical skills and broad perspective gained through these disciplines have contributed significantly to his ability to navigate complex organizational challenges and foster effective communication within diverse teams. Throughout his career, Mr. Kiser has demonstrated expertise in data analysis, forecasting, mediation and conflict management. Achieving such proficiency is noteworthy given his unconventional entry into information technology and highlights his commitment to professional development.

In addition to his degree, Mr. Kiser recently passed the Tennessee State Business and Law Contractors license exam and is in the process of obtaining a Tennessee contractor's license. This accomplishment enables him to offer structured cabling services alongside managed IT support for small and medium-sized businesses, an uncommon combination within the managed service provider industry in Tennessee. Mr. Kiser ensures compliance with state regulations for contracts exceeding specific financial thresholds by pursuing licensure, reflecting diligence and foresight in business operations.

Beyond his professional commitments, Mr. Kiser is actively engaged in civic initiatives through volunteer work with the Allevia Care Team's community outreach programs, including Adopt A Mile litter pick-up efforts. He also partners with Blount County Community Action Agency's Meals on Wheels program to provide food assistance for older adults in need.

In recognition of Allevia Technology's impact under Mr. Kiser's leadership, the company received the Best IT Provider of the Year award in 2026. Throughout his career, his approach to leadership has been shaped by open-mindedness, honesty and curiosity. He credits much of his success to a willingness to ask thoughtful questions and seek input from others rather than assuming expertise in every situation. This inquisitive mindset has been particularly valuable in an industry characterized by rapid innovation, such as artificial intelligence, where Mr. Kiser encourages careful evaluation of new technologies before adoption.

Looking ahead, Mr. Kiser is dedicated to expanding Allevia Technology while maintaining sustainable growth following a period of rapid expansion that doubled the company's workforce over consecutive years. He advocates for clear role definitions within the organization so that every employee understands their contributions and opportunities for advancement through measurable scorecards or certifications. By fostering technical and professional growth among team members, especially those new to the industry, Mr. Kiser aims to ensure that each individual receives education or certification that supports their career trajectory while contributing meaningfully to the company's ongoing success.
