HONOLULU, HI, October 20, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Anna Covert has been recognized for achievement in marketing and the energy industry.

Ms. Covert currently serves as principal, digital marketing authority and solar industry expert at Covert Communication LLC, a role she has held since 2018. Under her leadership, the firm has become one of Hawaii's largest digital marketing agencies, recognized for its innovative and adventurous approach.

For nearly a decade, Ms. Covert has guided the agency through significant growth, particularly in the renewable energy sector. Her expertise in digital marketing strategy, solar industry consulting, sales and marketing, technology integration and consumer protection has established her as a leading figure in both marketing and clean energy. She is also board treasurer for Sales and Marketing Executives Hawaii, contributing to the advancement of industry standards in Honolulu.

In addition to her work at Covert Communication LLC, Ms. Covert became a partner and curator at John Pitre Fine Arts in Honolulu in 2026. She also co-founded Mahjong Baby and founded Solar Assault in 2025, expanding her entrepreneurial reach. Since 2024, she has served as principal and chief executive officer of Artopia NFT, a venture at the intersection of art and blockchain technology. Her involvement as chief marketing officer for MIRA Network Blockchain began in 2022, where she continues to shape marketing strategies within emerging technologies.

Ms. Covert founded The MANA Solution in 2022 and launched the No. 1 Solar Calculator Plugin/Supporting All Frameworks (Trusting Solar Calculator) in Hawaii in 2021. Her creation of the Solar Wizard plugin stands out as a major achievement; it is now the top-ranked solar plugin for WordPress worldwide and is used in 27 countries to help consumers evaluate their solar needs.

Since 2019, Ms. Covert has also led Custom Home Services Direct Mail at Aerial Impacts and served as principal and chief executive officer for Reactium LLC, focusing on software development and technology consulting across the United States. From 2020 to 2023, she contributed to Sunspear Energy in Honolulu through direct sales and marketing efforts within the solar sector.

Prior to her time at Sunspear Energy, Ms. Covert served as principal, account service director, media director and online marketing and social media specialist at Wind On Water Communications from 2011 to 2018. During this period, she played a pivotal role in developing telehealth programs for hospitals statewide and secured an exclusive partnership with SunPower Inc., then the world's largest solar manufacturer. This relationship accelerated her agency's growth from two to 60 solar clients before SunPower's bankruptcy significantly impacted the industry.

Ms. Covert's earlier positions include vice president of sales and marketing at ETSIS Hats & Apparel from 2010 to 2011, where she helped secure a licensing deal with Dorfman Pacific Headwear for sun-protective apparel that debuted at the MAGIC trade show in Las Vegas. From 2008 to 2010, Ms. Covert worked as an account executive at Harris Agency, leading rebranding projects such as Village Roadshow's Wet 'n' Wild Hawaii and establishing long-term client relationships with brands like Hilo Hattie and Diamond Bakery.

At the outset of her professional journey, Ms. Covert served as the director of marketing for Paul Brown Salons and Spas from 2005 to 2008, where she wrote the business plan for the Paul Brown Institute and managed advertising for an international product line.

Throughout her career spanning more than two decades, Ms. Covert has demonstrated mastery in strategic partnerships, environmental advocacy and digital advertising fraud prevention. She is especially proud of publishing her first book with Forbes Books — "The Covert Code: Mastering the Art of Digital Marketing" — which addressed widespread online advertising fraud affecting businesses globally. The urgency of this issue, coupled with encouragement from her publisher, inspired her to launch The Covert Code podcast. It now reaches nearly 250,000 subscribers on YouTube with additional distribution on Apple, Amazon, Spotify and iHeartRadio.

Ms. Covert regards protecting businesses from digital advertising fraud as one of her highest priorities. She estimates that fraudulent activity now accounts for as much as 60% of some advertising spending, and she warns that small and family-owned businesses can unknowingly exhaust their entire budgets on it. Through her book and online, she offers free resources to help business owners understand the tools available to protect themselves. She is also outspoken in her criticism of major advertising platforms, including Google, Facebook and Microsoft, which she contends profit from fraudulent activity on their networks while offering advertisers little support when problems arise.

Notably, Ms. Covert's influence extends into public speaking engagements focused on safeguarding consumers from deceptive online practices. Within the solar industry specifically, she has worked with more than 100 companies over eight years — developing leasing programs, providing consulting services for manufacturers and distributing educational resources such as her self-published book "The Solar Coaster: The Solar Industry's Ultimate Playbook." She distributed copies at RE+, North America's largest clean energy conference.

Ms. Covert earned a Bachelor of Science in marketing with a minor in management from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts, graduating cum laude in 2005 after completing her program ahead of schedule. Her academic foundation provided essential skills that have supported her achievements across digital marketing strategy and business leadership roles.

A deep sense of passion combined with a spiritual belief in what she describes as the "light of the Creator" guides Ms. Covert's approach to life and work. She credits living honestly and ethically, grounded by a conviction that all people are connected, as central to her ongoing success.

Ms. Covert's commitment to community service is evident through pro bono website design and development for organizations such as Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii — including its original site and an upcoming relaunch — Molokai Humane Society and Mother's Milk. She also participates alongside her daughter in school community service initiatives through Hawai'i School for Girls at La Pietra.

Recognition for Ms. Covert's professional excellence includes a nomination for Pacific Edge magazine's Forty Under Forty distinction as well as a Pele Award from the American Advertising Federation in 2013 for a creative project developed for American Savings Bank.

Born in Suffern but raised in Aspen among a family of artists with roots extending from Sweden to New York, Ms. Covert draws inspiration from diverse cultural influences and lifelong exposure to creativity. She is devoted to her daughter, with whom she shares community service activities such as beach cleanups.

Looking ahead, Ms. Covert is pivoting toward personal branding initiatives and expanded engagement with the arts while continuing environmental advocacy efforts inspired by her upbringing among artists committed to global causes. She is collaborating with artist John Pitre on projects exploring environmental themes within contemporary art movements, including Planetary Arts Movement: X-ART advanced by the World Academy of Art and Science.

Ms. Covert anticipates joining the board of the American Renewable Energy Institute based in Aspen while also helping develop initiatives such as a Super Grid focused on national security amid technological advancements like artificial intelligence. Her ongoing work includes building platforms that empower artists worldwide to speak out against war — notably through "The World We Want" Collection centered on John Pitre's painting "The Ghost of War," which she aims to tour globally.
